Become a Music Composer - Music Notation Basics (2 of 3) - The Clefs (1)

In these meetings between musicians, music lovers and aspiring composers we discuss various topics. We get together in an informal setting, and propose various ways to understand music and on how to approach the art of music making and composition.

We strive to look at each topic in the most objective and scientific way, thus making it relevant to any music style and genre.

We are very honoured to have in the group people of various ages (60 years apart from the youngest to the oldest!), and of various levels, making it a challenge to explain things in the clearest way possible. An each one brings a something to the group and, because of the various musical backgrounds, a great variety.

Today we discuss the usage of the Staff in notating music.
