Please go over your tuning in one of your videos. When I crank my 12" tom that high, I get crazy snare buzz. Then I have to crank the snare side head of the snare way up into the stratosphere. You don't seem to be getting any nasty snare buzz from the 12" tom.  Oh, and nice playing too!  You have a nice touch and play very musically.  Bravo!

Hey Michael! I am blown away by your subtle approach...also love the undamped kick tone, I wish more would do that! I enjoy your playing like I like Bruford's, intensely technical but effortlessly polyrhythmic. My only complaint? Wear a non-patterned shirt that doesn't moire!! (JK, just didn't want to give you a swelled head.) Fantastic playing, can't wait to hear more in the future.
