Christian Kelly Scott is a dual doctoral Ph.D. candidate in Rural Sociology and International Agriculture, & Development in the Department of Agricultural Economics, Sociology, and Education at the Pennsylvania State University. His research focuses on societal issues of hunger and food insecurity. His dissertation focuses on the economic, environmental, and social determinants of household food security in the rural southern Kyrgyz highlands.
