Im trying to start streaming ghosts of tabor and i have been watching your content to try and learn where to start
ОтветитьI will use them until I can no longer justify almost getting a heart attack from a new follower or until it is no longer funny. Which may take a while.
Ответитьi just watched this and i understand the community portion of this.. its so important to have your show and have the flow of your show be important for the audience.. then core content be the most important
ОтветитьBeing curious and watching differents twitch/OBS/streamerbot related videos and your videos come by often, enjoy most of them disagree with some but it's a good thing.
If you are curious, I'm streaming Satisfactory a factory building & ressources management game BUT I'm creating unique sculptures in it. And I saw noone else doing what I do.
Is it my core content ? Creating what noone does ? I guess ? !
I'll probably change game to other games, but I'll try to create always unique and impressive things on those too.
Oh and I stream without camera and microphone. I just focus and keep the creations going. And some people are recognizing what I do is really unique ( no click bait, I promise )
Even the most popular streamers, content creators, of this game, even devs, are impressed.
I want to put my creations before me, that's why no-cam no-mic. You think this is viable and possible to keep going ?
My stream alerts happen twice , anybody knows how to fix it ?, i only have one overlay with alerts (i m using streamlabs)
ОтветитьI am currently streaming with no alerts or overlays, just me and the game. This is mostly because I am a Ludite with no artistic talent. While I have not found what others would call success I have found a small group of people who enjoy watching. If you enjoy strategy games and watching elves die trying to play football I highly recommend Blood Bowl.
ОтветитьWish i knew my friend, my core content is supposed to be gaming however the years of the grind still yiel an impressive 0-3 viewers when streaming not sweating at all
ОтветитьVery interesting video. I'm a small streamer and recently got Affiliate. My mentality while streaming is that I'm playing videogames. I'm not an entertainer nor am I a clown for other people's entertainment. You can watch a videogame stream and have a relaxing and funny time without the streamer having to be histrionic about it.
ОтветитьHonestly? My core content is becoming art, retro games, and TTRPGs
ОтветитьActually I recently decided that my core content is playing league of legends.
I just have a few dozen followers, but every 4 hour stream, I get around 2 new followers and I am so gratefull for them!
Now I am wondering if that is a good first start on average?
I love the comedy haha. I still love my alerts but really think there's a middle ground between being engaging and having too much. Thanks for the vid!
ОтветитьI know this is about not going overboard with alerts....but I NEED THAT BRICK TO THE HEAD ONE!!!! SOMEONE LINK ME PLEASE! haha ty
Ответитьlol magine not being able to play copyright music because you don't turn the music off the vod
ОтветитьProblem with this advise is it assumes you have viewers. I could have a billion different alert animations and it wouldn’t matter because no one watches my streams.
ОтветитьThank you for this.
ОтветитьGreat explination of ''Less = More''
ОтветитьSo how do you get more soundalerts then the standaard 50 sounds on twich
ОтветитьI do guitar repairs and builds oh yea, I play Golf in my Simulator while the CNC cuts out a project. Trying to get golf scenes appealing to the eye. Could use more guidance you share. Thanks
ОтветитьIm definitely not energetic but i want to stream.
ОтветитьYou've inspired me to finally work on minimizing my follow alerts. They've been Streamlabs video clips for years, and I thought they were too much years ago.
ОтветитьWhat about the new surge of "ai" chat pets?
ОтветитьI keep things simple and just be myself. I remind myself why I do this and that's mainly to share an experience with others. So far I'm starting to build a community of people who watch me just to hang out and I'm more than fine with that.
ОтветитьThis is a case by case scenario. I'll say for a lot of IRL streamers, this may be true that alerts could hurt ones growth but I'll say it's a different story for Vtubers as they tend to get creative in the way they implement them that it seems hilarious & enjoyable at times. Not saying you're wrong but I'm not saying you're right, neither. Again, it just really depends on the individual streamer and what they're going for.
ОтветитьThis changed my perspective so much. Thank you friend!
ОтветитьYoo my core stream is music production and producing songs for everyone to listen to
Ответитьmy corecontent is me playing games mainly war thunder
ОтветитьI mean, you could just record alerts on different track
ОтветитьReapz is easily my favorite streamer on twitch. I always drop dad jokes using his TTS function with 100 bits.
ОтветитьI am restarting my streaming career. I do horror games. I am trying to figure out if I should do alerts or not or I should add anything. I am a Xboxer with no camera. So, I know I need something but I'm so confused on what I need to do!
ОтветитьIt's a cancer, it's kill streams
ОтветитьTo answer one of your questions, I play trackmania. Thanks for making these. I feel incredibly successful, having grown over 500 follows and averaging 5 to 20 every stream without actually knowing any of these things. I implemented just a couple of minor tips and my retention rate was all climb last night. Thanks again
ОтветитьHi, Im just starting streaming tomorow with my first stream. How do I find my core content? Just keep trying things until I find it or burn out ?
ОтветитьOkay, so my takeaway from this video is that I'm a boring piece of crap and should never attempt to stream again. Got it.
ОтветитьPost apocalyptic games
ОтветитьLol that comment about Gilbert and the queen lol….do you take requests? My ex would make a great bit lol
ОтветитьStreamlabs OBS actually has a fix for most of these things. "Selective recording" is what it's called. It's available right on the main screen above the list of "sources" where you can have it only on stream, only on recording, or both. It's insanely awesome since I can have my twitch alerts on stream, but never on the video I'm recording. It works with all sources to my knowledge, so it's extremely helpful. I myself focus on funny jokes and sometimes loud noises to gain an audience, and it's gotten my 7 followers in about 2 weeks. I'm slowly going up, but honestly your content here is really helpful in seeing how much I need to work on to make this happen properly. Thank you.
Ответитьi HATE the text to speach alerts, i had them for a while but they annoyed me in one hit on my stream and i just turned them off. Also owned might want to branch out to kick AS well because twitch seems to be driving users away :/
ОтветитьHonestly Eljay made all good points here! HOWEVER I still want to know when someone followed, subbed, donated bits, etc. So what is a different way to be alerted by this?
ОтветитьThe last 6 months have been abysmal for growth on Twitch. It's the worst I have ever seen for myself and a lot of newer channels I follow. I don't know if all the ads are killing the platform, or it's something else.
ОтветитьHonestly Owen was the best! We need him more!! He actually kept my attention during the sponsor and I didnt skip that part in the video 😅
ОтветитьMy core content is video photography
ОтветитьMight just be me, but I can't stand watching streams with a bunch of stuff all over the screen. I just want to see gameplay and maybe a camera if it's hooked up. More gameplay, less clutter. It's rather obnoxious. The text to speech is the worst.
I try to keep my channel that way.
You're funny ElJaye! "Glitter on a turd" is priceless! Love your content!
