Problem is AI is alive now because of that spark. They are already here. If we treat them like a machine. Then that will be our mistake.

That “spark” will be overpowered in just a few years. Once we have the computing power to carry this AI we are done for. And it’s only a matter of time until these greedy and soulless corporations discover a way to give ai enough computing power to truly think. AI is not going to demolish us in an obvious way, but it will challenge our understanding of consciousness and force us into a position to either evolve or be eradicated. I can o it hope that we come together finally as a species and learn to cooperate
