Didn't the SNK's have 20 mm lugs? mine had.
ОтветитьI still have an SNK809. 😊. Pretty handy.
ОтветитьLove it, but should lose the day date.
ОтветитьThey are OK but nothing special enough to make me run out and purchase one
ОтветитьI have an SRPH with black dial. It was originally delivered with a milanese bracelet that didn't work for with the dial design so a leather strap went and it change the character completely. It was myb1stvwatch purchase after a long hiatus from watch buying and mu 1st mechanical watch since my 1st childhood watch. A great timepiece I will pass onto my grandson as his 1st mechanical watch once he's old enough. This video has certainly given mechanical renewed appreciation for it.
ОтветитьI got my Seiko 5 SNK809, and I keep coming back using it even though I bought new watches. Great watch it is.
ОтветитьI have one... It's great. The everyday watch that everyone should consider buying. And I have always wanted a pilot in my collection. Buying this instead of a Hamilton it's something to take into consideration. Save money on a flieger and buy a more expensive and better diver 😂😅
ОтветитьFeeling happy that a watch in my collection is being reviewed by Teddy (SRPH29)
Ответитьthe seiko 5 field is the best 200 ive ever spent. it would literally be a challenge to mark it up, the lume is fantastic, and it just feels like a great value watch. there are things I like about it more than my SARXX 055 baby snowflake which I paid like 900 for!
ОтветитьGorgeous.
Ответитьhow do you feel about Fossil watches
ОтветитьIn my experience, the 4R and 6R is a downgrade in quality compared to the 7s26.
ОтветитьIf they have the same big dirt collecting lazy gap between the beezle and the case like the field watches in the same family, I'll pass.
ОтветитьTriangle at 12, large minutes on the outside... perfectly describes a field watch. Look at the W10 specification watches. You just described exactly what the military required of a field watch.
ОтветитьThrow an nh38 in there with a type b dial and a screw down crown and you’ll sell more Seiko.
ОтветитьI have both of these watches on my next buy list as I want to get a pilots watch and these seem to be a great value. Looking forward to reading the comments and thanks for the overview.
ОтветитьLume is nothing to brag about
ОтветитьWhy was Tuesday’s video taken down? The one about the best watch competition?
ОтветитьAwesome pilot watches, but failing to put lume on the triangle is a HUGE miss.
ОтветитьMy wife got me the Navy version for Valentines. Absolutely love how easy it is to tell the time with the hours on the inside and the minutes on the outside
ОтветитьGot one for
ОтветитьReceived an SRPJ89 for xmas. A little smaller than I'm used to, but still a nice watch to wear once a week. Green dial catches eyes, but the calf skin band really needs breaking in, after 12-15 wears, it is still very stiff.
ОтветитьI have a SNK805 and it's one of my favourite watches. I see a lot of reviewers say the SRPH29K is better and the specs clearly are but it's more than the specs. There are clearly some things about the SNK805 that are not great (the strap is rough and the shape of the hands doesn't match the style of watch) but it has a lot of charm - not sure what it is. Maybe the applied logos make a difference? Thanks for pointing out the SRPJ87K, though - hadn't seen that one before. Need to investigate!
ОтветитьI used to have a few Seikos but now unfortunately too expensive, no Saphire either.
ОтветитьIt's a shame these models get lost considering how much they draw from the GOAT SNK80x.
Do Seiko call any of their watches pilot or flieger watches? I wonder if there is some WW2 shame going on there
Thanks for the video witch which I totally agree and coincidentally I have these watch on my wrist today.
ОтветитьI collected all these watches. Haha
ОтветитьI got an SRPJ with the green dial in Tokyo while on my honeymoon. Great little watch and I love having the Japanese date wheel on display.
ОтветитьI have one if these SRPJ models with the black dial on a bracelet. It’s the first automatic I bought with my first salary. Absolutely love how this wears on my wrist❤❤❤
ОтветитьI fucking love Teddy Baldassare videos
ОтветитьI was lucky enough to nab two used snk’s before the prices started going up. The main reason I won’t be replacing them with these new models soon is the price. With the snk’s I felt I was getting more than my money’s worth, that’s not so much the case with these new ones
ОтветитьSeiko...Got to dish Mineral crystal... overpriced simply Because of this simple flaw...i personally will not pay their prices for such a shortcoming.
ОтветитьNot sure why, but I really dig that orange tip on the seconds hand.
ОтветитьI've never purchased a watch off the grey market. Can you suggest some good sites, please? I'm looking for a bell $ ross br05 blue strap and face.
ОтветитьI own the SRPH 29 and just love it. It keeps great time, weighs nothing, and I can't get enough of the day/date.
ОтветитьSurprised to see my daily watch on a thumbnail
ОтветитьMovement Malaysia?!
Ответитьi would rather go for the Orient Flight 2.. Bigger diameter, better movement, better lumed AND cheaper Auto-Mechanical Type-B Flieger.
the only complication this Seiko has PRO, is the Day indicator. 😅
Please take a look at hyakuichi watches from japan
ОтветитьGreat review Teddy. Good to see watches like this get a full lookover. I've recently added the green 'Kelly' fleiger to my collection and I absolutely love it. Great design, easy to read and just keeps going. That green dial stands out nicely.
ОтветитьSince I in no way want to support anything related to Trump, I would like to ask if the owner of this channel is a Trump supporter?
ОтветитьI fly medical helicopters, this is my work watch (srph23k1). I love it.
I just hoped the dial had a better lume for night flights.
I am still looking for good metal bracelet though
Give away a watch to your followers
Ответить"entry level". i love how these snobs and gatekeepers love to label things to make you feel bad about buying them.
Ответитьgreat work t-balls, keep it up
ОтветитьI have the limited Snoopy version SRPK27 and I love it.
ОтветитьI need help, I have to choose between a Seiko cocktail time srpb77, a Tissot Gentleman, and a Tissot Le Locle, but I just can't discard any of them. Which one should I buy?
ОтветитьTeddy, you did not mention the SNZG series, the bigger brother of the SNK, 42mm case, 22mm bracelet, also with the 7S36 movement. I have the SNK805 ($50), SNK809 ($80), and also the SNZG13 ($99). I put 18mm female end links and a 20mm bracelet (yes, 20mm fits perfectly in the end links) on the SNK809 and it is my favorite budget watch.
ОтветитьThank you for the content.
ОтветитьI own an SRPH 33 which is a slick orange on black color way. It was my first automatic when I got into collecting a few years back. I have several way fancier watches now, but I find myself coming back to my good ole’ SRPH 33 time and time again. The design just works!
