8 Reasons Desperados 3 Is One Of The Best Stealth Games In Years | Desperados 3 Review

Hello! Wanted to flag up a mistake in this one - or rather, a failing of memory. As has been pointed out to me, Commandos had the two tone view cone, too. I'd played Desperados 1 more recently, and I'd forgotten the earlier game made the near and far distinction. My bad. But it doesn't detract from my praise for the interface in this one. It's a delight. Thanks for watching.

If you like Desperdos 3 then you should try to play Shadow Gambit.
The 2 game made by same developer (Mimimi). But my opinion Shadow Gambit far more better.

I honestly don't know WHY i passed over this one in my steam wish-list until now. What an amazing game! BEST $$$ spent on steam this winter sale 2023... sad it took me this long to find out just how GOOD IT IS!!! I am loving it. (it was a gift...and a GREAT one at that!) I'm confused about the intro gameplay clip. The gunman walking past you should have spotted you. You were croutched directly in front of his vision cone only feet away, so how was it possible that he didn't see you?

Freezing time is the one thing this game does that made me like it over all the other games in the series or Shadow Tactics.. I kinda hated all of them but this is the first one I've liked.

First Desperados game also perfect game. and much harder than Desperados 3. Commandos BEL and Commandos BCOD much much harder than Desperados 1 and 3. This games are awesome;

More than a stealth game, this is a puzzle game. Each map is divided into several areas, each area is just a puzzle, that uses stealth mechanics to deliver the puzzle.

I've played about 4 or 5 missions into Desperados 3. I think I prefer Shadow Tactics over it.

Mark of the Ninja is the best stealth game in years, and better than both this and Blades of the Shogun, and I know that because I've played all three games

Literally 1 sec in and I was like "wtf this looks soooo familiar". It's by the same devs as Shadow Tactics!! That was an awesome game and I can't believe this flew under my radar. Definitely gettin this!

Shadow tactics was super fun and I cant wait to play this one!

Divinity juarez: phantom pain

I enjoyed Shadow Tactics. Some of the cartoony graphics didn't click with me, but it was an enjoyable experience overall. Clocked in just over 30h, single playthrough. For Desperados 3, though, the game is simply mispriced for what it offers. As far as I could find, it's the exact same structure as ST. No branching storylines, no open world, no rpg elements (character-based upgrades), just mission after mission in the most linear way imaginable. How in the high hells this dares to cost more than the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077, and just slightly less than Sekiro.
