Simple. Do you want to help others untill they can run as fast or faster than you or you don't want to help due to conflict of interest

honestly if someone did some round about speak like this , i would be annoyed, because i would immediately see it's almost a lie and you're not being honest, but rather concealing your thoughts, like you're better than the other. just say," it looks to be like a lot of repeated code , can we make this more dry"

to me the "is there a way to make this more DRY" sounds rude the vagueness makes it sound rude, I would prefer pointing out the lines where there is a repetition.
