One Day in L.A. – How to See the Best of Los Angeles in a Day

The best way to go around Los Angeles is definitely by car. If you are a tourist you need to rent a car near the LAX. Having your own means of transportation will give you not only flexibility, but also save you time. But driving in L.A. may be challenging, due to heavy traffic.

Our iteneray last Jan 2023.
1. We arrived LAX at 7am.
2. We rented a car from Budget Car rental.
Note: No need to avail additional car insurance. Else you car rental fee will spike to the roof. =)
3. We dropped our bags to the hotel.
4. At 11am, we drove to Beverly Hills.
5. Took some photos in Beverly Hills and then walked to Rodeo Drive.
6. We left Beverly Hills at 1pm.
7. We drove to Hollywood Blvd.
Note: Traffic was bad and it took us almost 1.5hrs to reach Hollywood Blvd.
8. Walked around Hollywood Blvd
9. We left Hollywood Blvd at 5pm.
10. We dropped by The Museum of Contemporary Arts on our way back to the hotel.
Note: Traffic was terrible around 5-9pm in LA.

Do not believe in the "10 AMAZING THINGS TO DO IN LA – ONE DAY ITINERARY". This is just a dream. You cannot do 10 amazing things in LA for 1 day because traffic in LA is terrible. =)
