I love watching these cool-looking nerds meming along to LoTR! I grew up when sport nerds and auto nerds thought they were better that book nerds and comic nerds. Now we are one, except some of the more physical nerds still think they aren't just LARPing.

Love seeing people getting into LoTR. It's a fantastic series of both books and movies. Definitely better than anything the non-cannon rings of power produced.

Couldn't make it past the intro, the commentary is just too dumb. Paused to check the comments to see if it got better, learned that, well, it clearly doesn't. This channel's style is evidently not for me.

When this movie first came out, I was vehemently opposed to seeing it. I’d been forced to watch the animated LOTR in 6th grade and hated it. But then I was at a movie theater and after whatever I saw had ended, we poked our heads into the room showing the end of this movie. Seeing that Sean Astin was in this movie, my mind was changed. After all, how bad could it be if a Goonie was in it? Not the best logic but combined with seeing some of the visuals, my mind was changed and I decided to give this new LOTR a chance. I am so glad I did as I love these 3 movies. The extended edition of The Two Towers is my favorite of the series, extended or otherwise.

Fun fact: Vigo Mortenstein was chosen as a replacement for Aragorn last minute. Like they were already filming the hobbit scenes when they switched out actors. He essentially showed up for the first day after getting hired the day before and did his first scenes perfectly. Such a boss. He embodies Aragorn, his values and attributes to a T. He used to literally run to the river or pond and fish when he wasn’t on set in between his scenes. He grew so attached to his horse that he adopted it (and a few others I think) after filming. He wanted to carry a real sword the whole time so it looked way more real than the fake ones when running around or moving fast and not fighting. He learned to shoot bow and arrows very fast and was great at it.

Frodo is Sams boss. Sam is essentially like a man servant/ gardener type of deal. His family has employed sams family for generations. That’s why he calls him sit and is so loyal. Frodo being a great guy treats him more like a friend than servant

Rings of Powr is hate-fiction and a bastardized of the lore and characters and plots of the Silmarillion. DO NOT ASSOCIATE anything of that show with the Jackson movies or the Tolkien books please!
Even 50 shades of grey made a more accurate fanfiction to twilight than Rings of Power did for Lord of the Rings!

Just so you guys know,the reason that Sauron was shown in the crystal ball was because Sauraman had already been consulting with him before Gandalf got there. He was already planning to try to turn Gandalf to the dark side.
