Even though I did have English at school, for me personally that wasn’t the way I really learned the language. Originally I am from the Netherlands and moved to Spain when I was twelve years old without speaking any Spanish at all. So my parents started to look for an mentor to help me and my sisters with our homework. That mentor was from an England and spoke perfect Spanish. So he helped us and we only spoke English with him and that is how it started. To be honest, nowadays I find it easier to write in English than in Dutch 😂
