You should’ve called him back and told him how bad he was at his scam.

I remember receiving a call from my mum telling me my dad was speaking to some scammer on the phone and that he was installing something on the laptop.

Turned out it was teamviewer and luckily my mum had an enough sense to trust her gut that something wasn’t right. The scammer had already accessed the machine and installed a keylogger. So I had to over the phone get him to reinstall windows from 10000 miles away where I now live.

What’s frustrating is that my dad wouldn’t believe he was a scammer over the word of his own son. He said “how can he take my money?” 🤦🏽‍♂️

My dad is one of those very capable people but from a different era. We forget how quickly the world changes and so do the threats.
