I still not understand 3 science classes each lecture take me 3 hours to understand I can’t do it less then hour and I go to school from 5 days a week every week 3 lectures can’t do old and new lectures
ОтветитьThis is so helpful. Thank you for such an informative video
ОтветитьThanks bro 🙂🔥
ОтветитьI know this video is old, but I wanted to ask how do you apply these techniques to practical skills like programming or hacking?
ОтветитьThanks mate. Those are really helpful. I noted everything that you said.
ОтветитьI am super excited to have found this and put it to use. I will be attending school after a 12 year break while studying for my real estate license and GC license so I am so happy to have been able to find this. Thank you guys and I'll check in as I go.
ОтветитьHello! This video was absolutely amazing, I really needed to find a video that not only told me how to study smarter but also showed me and this is the video that showed me! I really recommend this to other students for their study techniques. I'm definitely going to use their Remnotes website! Thanks guys!
ОтветитьHi, thanks for this video! Where can I post a question? I am studying Computer Science and would like ideas how to learn C++ and Digital Systems using the study techniques used here (it's not like I'm looking information that can easily be transfered to a flash card)
ОтветитьExcellent content, spectacular clarity. Being able to quizz myself 3 times on the one read-through would assume that I was really interested in the topic, fully engaged and had already some familiarity. I am considering jumping into anatomy and phisiology of the blood and lymph systems (as prep for lymph massage) but the domain is totally out of my expertese. I guess it would then be advisable to at least plough through the materials once to create some hooks, some familiarity BEFORE I actually try to learn the stuff. Right? I can't imagine testing myself after one read.
ОтветитьI'm struggling with math's, physics and computer please help🤎🧸🤎
ОтветитьThis is best crux you told bro, I m learning French from 1.5 years you tell me the crux.. thank you. Hope I will succeed in my goal see u bye bye
ОтветитьHi, I love your videos! I’m not all the way through this video or the ones I have queued yet, so I may delete this comment if I find my question answered, but:
Do you have any tips or a video dedicated to language learning specifically? I’m able to recognize vocab and grammar when reading, but really struggling to recall when generating (mostly speaking, but also writing).
Or maybe, the tips in all your learning videos also apply to language learning?
Thanks so much! I look forward to your insight.
Flashcards are a great way to quizz yourself, but i find that making them takes so much time there isn’t any time left to actually go through them. Any advice??
ОтветитьI also love how studying works with everyday jobs and careers to do with them, u are a blessing God bless vro
ОтветитьYour videos are useful to implement improvement journalism
ОтветитьMedicine students are built different! I just had my final exams and now having a summer break. I'm just cleaning the house and listening to your input which is going to make a huge difference for my future learning process! I usually avoid videos like this because I'm immediately feeling bad and guilty, knowing I'm supposed to study at that moment so now is the perfect time :D
ОтветитьFor my reminding
1. Quiz > read
2. Review for not forget
3. Mixed idea ( more topics )
Tell me more about remnote
ОтветитьThank you, this will really help as I just failed my science test because I have no clue how to study for science. I want to study medicine when I get into year 11 and I've just thankful that I failed in year 8 than later on.
ОтветитьWaooo! Thanks alot your video come just at the right time 👏👊
Ответитьme cramming the night before the test, watching this video
ОтветитьI have a question how can this help me because I have dyslexia
ОтветитьYou did not explain methods under Quizzing
ОтветитьCan I just say that Remnote actually saved me this year in school
ОтветитьWhen will remnote be available on the iPad?🎉
Ответитьso sad i only found out about this chanel when I'm about to graduate, and almost had a burnout LOL, still never too late to learn and aplly it right?
ОтветитьWait so I study say math for 50 mins then 10 min break then when I come back I study a diff topic right. This is for the interleavign
ОтветитьIdk that group 2 would excel in math. I gotta have the answers somewhere to check if I’m studying math or I just do it wrong 15 times and think I did it correct
ОтветитьDid you know that the brain is mostly made of fat? The heart relies on fat for about 80% of its fuel. That might be why we store fat. What's left over is stored as adipose fat or used for the brain. I think that vegetable fats and fish oil are less likely to be used directly by the heart as fuel and less likely to be stored in adipose tissue. Olive oil did wonders for the Greeks and Romans. Oily fish has omega-3's and neurofilament proteins. Letting yourself gain weight (body fat) studying hard may build up brain fat; however, getting fat by sugar overconsumption probably is bad because it leads to diabetes.
ОтветитьI know you like coffee, and I like tea, so I thought I would share some of my tricks. Caffeine supposedly works by blocking adenine receptors in the brain. Actually if you drink too much coffee or tea, it will make you tired. I put low sodium soy sauce in my tea, because it is a source of glutamate, a stimulatory neurotransmitter. I also add B vitamin liquid which can convert glutamate to GABA (for focus). Another additive is pedialyte with dextrose (glucose). Glucose is the preferred fuel of the brain, and glucose is better than sucrose (sugar). You should also eat a bit of simple starch for more glucose, and even build up glycogen reserves for study.
ОтветитьDo you know about VitalSource Bookshelf? I have online lifetime access to Voets' Biochemistry. The phone app can read the text to you, and you can follow along reading. In addition, you can highlight and write notes on your online copy. I think there also might be test questions in a workbook, but I haven't got to use it yet.
ОтветитьI hope some channels address studying techniques for engineering students, because flash cards don't often apply to us. We have terms and concepts but more than half the time, we are solving problems and combining Science and Math together like a perfect balance, unlike medicine programs that heavily focus on Science. Also, spaced repetition is really hard for many of us, since if we divided a number of hours into 7 days, and then use the Pomodoro technique which is 25 mins study - 5 mins rest, we're unlikely to understand what we're studying because solving problems and testing ourselves don't just take 30 minutes. Sometimes we spend hours on a certain problem.
ОтветитьThis is exactly how I studied for biology and other subjects. I made a little question catalog with what I assumed would come to the test and just filled out stuff I already knew. And the stuff I didn't know, I would just look for the answer in my notes and write it, because afterwards I would question myself again anyways by covering the answers with a piece of paper. This way I memorize some stuff before I even beginn studying
ОтветитьHow I wish theres a channel like this but for law school 🥺
Ответитьvery well explained 😍
ОтветитьIronically, studying with these techniques have been not better compared to watching the lecture thousands of times
ОтветитьUsing the Leitner System when studying multiple subjects: Currently, I am studying for the bar exam. Flashcards would be great to memorize Rules and Definitions. But how would you use the system to study for multiple subjects?
ОтветитьHi i can take your video and translate it to my language.
ОтветитьI just want to say I learned so much from your channel. Thank you very much.
ОтветитьThank you so much Matt and Mike your techniques helped me to passed our licensure exam for Geodetic Engineer last 2021. Keep sharing your tips..it helps. More blessings and God bless❤
ОтветитьThank u this was helpful
ОтветитьGreat method
ОтветитьHow to study when you have multiple classes. Tons of information to cover on different topics. How to retain for each class
ОтветитьAmazing content
ОтветитьI'm interested in the course you offer and am willing to pay for it but don't want to sign up for a subscription service (Skill Share); I just want to follow this course and nothing else. Do you have options for people like me?
ОтветитьLove it!!
ОтветитьOMG!! This was a eye-opener, amazing tips!! I'm so happy I found your channel!!! THANK YOU for sharing your knowledge!!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤
ОтветитьThanks for the tip! Currently studying for Engineering board exams. Will get back to this comment 6 months from now after passing the licensure exam.
