I love my roses of Sharon. I have Purple Pillar, White Pillar and a pink one. The white one keeps dropping flower buds before they open (still has lots of blooms though!). Is this maybe a watering issue?

Great explanation. Simple enough to follow

Those are beautiful. How can I know when it’s okay to pull a flower bud? I would love to plant a couple on the other side of my yard. Thanks.

Thank you! BUT I still have lots of unopened flowers NOT seed pods - only a couple of flowers opened this year - what are some reason why it is still not blooming?? I have a 2 yr old pink chiffon, slow release fertilizer in spring

I love my purple pillars! I have two flanking the entry to my vegetable garden. I have a question about the Little self seeded babies I find in the lawn area near them. Will these babies grow true to form as purple pillars or will they revert to crazy wild rose of Sharon?

Does the Purple Pillar grow on new wood or old wood. Would like to keep under 15 feet…

Was I wrong in pruning our Rose of Sharon? There is some growth on the lower half, but there are dead bracnches at the top. Should I prune the dead branches?

Mine bloomed a month before my neighbors because I watered it in the summer. It wasnt until we got 3 weeks of several rainy days that my neighbor's bloomed. Give your plants water!!

Awesome info. I have 13 rose of Sharon plants and all are blooming but 2 and those have the pods. Why is that?

I cut my plants last winter a good amount and was expecting a lot of flowers this season! But only had a few and then what looked like massive flower buds that weren’t blooming even now in Oct-well, your video made me understand lol, they are seeds not buds 😔

I absolutely love this wonderful and beautiful and edible and medical plant it comes in the colors of Purple or pink or white
🌺 Pillar Rose 🌺 .
Yes the whole plant is edible for humans as well as animals
From the flower to the young seeds pods to the young leaves and the twigs and even the route is medical and edible . 🌿🌺🤔🌺🌿
This is one of the plants that everyone should have in their yards for emergency situations . 🤔
Also this plant brings bees and butterflies to your yard which are extremely beautiful and needed . 🙂🐝🦋🙂
You can Sun dry the flowers and the leaves for tea .
🌺🌿☕
You can also make tonics out of the flowers . 🤔
It has a lot of vitamin c for your immunity health. 😍
It helps with high blood pressure and is good for people who have diabetes.
It helps cure urinary tract infections . 🤔
It is good for sore throats and blue and colds . 🤔
A beautiful and wonderful medical plant easy to grow and easy to multiply through the seed pods in the end of fall when they begin to dry up and fall from the tree. 🌿🤔
They will automatically and naturally begin to produce more of its kind through its seed pod you will find many of them growing in spring just dig them up and place them where you would like them to grow into a big bush or even a large tree . 🌺😍🌺
