Only CA and MA have equal rights for its citizens

We're also proud Californians ! Conservatives probably think that the heaven falls from the sky if we allow same sex marriage. Nobody, and really nobody will be negatively affected by same sex marriage. Live and let live, but it's too hard for intolerant conservatives to understand it. We're not gays, we love boys, but we believe in civil rights, and that all persons are created equal ! No matter your race, religion, sexual preference, income level. We're all equal !! Gays can only marry in Netherlands, Spain, and Belgium in Europe. So Europe is not that much better, but at least gays are not treated as trash like many American states do. We support gay marriage because we believe in equal rights and civil rights. Obama for president !!!

Civil unions are not enough, it is like saying an adult is allowed to sign a contract. As long as civil unions don't have the same rights as married couples, i will keep fighting 4 equal rights for them. Conservatives opposed people of color to vote, we liberals took it down. Then conservatives didn't want women to vote, we liberals took it down. Conservatives opposed interracial marriages, we liberals took it down. Now conservatives don't want gays to marry, we liberals will take it down too.

I have been to a'dam, and live in Sf and I think gays have the right to marry. I don't look down to them like conservatives do. It's a civil rights issue to me. I have gay friends, and I will keep fighting for their rights to have the same rights as me as heterosexual.

No, we will NOT change CA Constitution. Face it, if we allowed the south to have their way, we would still have slavery. Mayor of SF, LA support gay marriage. State Assembly supports it, Supreme Court supports it, and Schwarzenegger said to respect the Supreme Court, so it's settled. Gays can marry in CA and if people don't like it, they can leave the state.

Finally! Another state has accepted that human rights MUST be accepted, despite whether you agree with it or not. I may be straight, but by every god I know, if I were gay, I'd move to Cali. Congrads couples in Cali!! Gay and Straight alike!
