This happened to me in La Ronge, Sask about 2009-2011, i was 22 or so, walking to Lake View from the bar, kinda drunk, but not stupid drunk, it was a cold asf, -30 at 1am bar closing time, its only a 10 min walk to my place, I only had Sweater jeans, and runners on, they stopped me Handcuffed me and started driving, thought they were taking me the drunk tank, cause that's what they usually do to peeps around here, but when I asked where we going?? once I noticed they were driving towards the highway, one cop said dont worry about it, my fkn heart sank I was like holy fk these guys gonna kill me!!! And heart was beating crazy, they drove pretty far way up past the Airport about halfways to Neimebien Lake then dropped me off on the highway, i was like holy fk ill freeze to death out here, they laughed in my face and drove off, I walked for 20 mins or so and got lucky to get picked up by a Semi Driver coming from up north, I explained to him what just happened and he was straight up disgusted with what happened to me, he said he'll remember that and tell peeps about it, he dropped me off at Shell, which is now a Coop Gas Station and Car Wash, literally a 2 minute walk from my place, I fkn ran home, and if the cops were gonna try stop again I wouldnt stop for them at all, fkn sick evil fks, I wouldnt even know who to tell about it at the time to try get those cops in trouble cause your supposed to report things like that to the police, but how can you trust cops after something like that, I'll never forget. Also, just because the ex-cop took 800 complaints in a short period of time, doesn't mean most weren't dismissed. Special Investigative Units are cop protection units. They only bring down cops who offend cops.
We need a citizens review board, not cops judging themselves. If you have experience with brute/perv copps, you don't have respect - you have anger.

I’m white and I am so sorry for the rate my race treats indigenous people and other minorities. They absolutely enjoy hurting and traumatizing others even to the point of murder. Of course mistreating indigenous community is wrong and must be stopped. That being said there are plenty of issues among the indigenous population and you can't paint them all as saints in hindsight. That one lady does sort of mirror how many white people feel about the indigenous people.

🇨🇦 in the 1970s in Scarborough Ontario I was in a relationship with a Toronto Police Officer. He told me one night in February he and his partner had picked up a homeless man from the streets, took him out to an abandon church 20 miles out of town, and left him there. I was absolutely appalled, I asked ' what if he had died how would you know' ? He said they were homeless who cares.!!! I left the relationship. I still think that poor man, did you make it, or did he freeze to death. Very sad state of affairs

I was 13 years old in Fort Qu’Appelle I was arrested at a house party by a officer by the name of Constable spellchan I remember being in the back of the cop car drunk an when we started leaving the fort going out to the praries I got a sick feeling an prayed for my life he wasn’t going to the station but by some miracle his cell phone rang an was ordered to come back to the station … I felt helpless…I didn’t feel like a human to him all of this is real but like Canada likes to do it was brushed under the rug… I remember the officers name first an last. Now my son has to grow up in this world an my Daughter who has a bigger target on her head . Come forward my brothers an sisters let’s bring all these sick individuals to the light

Edmonton police were busted doing this. I was arrested on my 24th bday (febuary) -35 c that night for drunk in public . As soon as i got in the paddy wagon i heard them say ...."should we take him north side and kick him out?" I said "i heard thats what you guys do lately" then his partner said lets just take him to the jail hes gonna be a problem if we dont" i said your damn right ill be a problem. They charged me with drunk in public and while i was in the jail they charged me with conduct detrimental to an orderly operation. For callign them ignorant pigs. The candian police from coast to coast to coast are 99.9 percent corrupt. Never trust the pigs in canada

Prayers continue 4 these men and women who passed at hands of hateful ppl. I know a few injustices that have occurred here too in my territory home to family and today there are never answers, but I pray for them that the. Creator knows big time, and is all in his hands.

I live in Saskatchewan and remember these stories. Wish I could say we are better towards our First Nations to day but I’m not sure things have gotten better. Even “liberal” people in my family and friends have disgusting views on First Nations.
