What Laptop to Get In 2024

If you really want a recommendation for a school laptop that’s the best price for the buck just search for these at minimum:
- intel cpu 11th gen i5 or above
- 8gb of ddr 4 (recommended 16 but you can survive with only 8
- 512gb of ssd storage (again, 1 terabyte recommended but you can survive with 512)
- 14 inch screen and above (that’s a personal opinion, but I believe 13 isn’t that much.)
- a good battery life - I’m not an expert, but just try researching about the laptop and see how long the battery lasts on heavy loads.

* refurbished - if you can find the right deal / seller, a refurbished laptop is the same quality as factory sealed (depends on the conditions written with the seller) for a really great price.

Before i came to Malaysia, in iraq they offered me msi and Logitech, i refused them because of size, battery life and weight. The choices i had were dell latitude, microsoft surface, lenovo and hp elitebook. I bought hp g3 1030 with 16 gb ram and 256 ssd memory and it is the greatest choice i ever made.

My gaming laptop has 6h if battery life at least. You could go up to 7 if you do only basic stuff. It's an HP Victus 15-FA1030NL. I love it. It works for school and gaming 🎉

Game laptop is the best , because you can study and if you can control yourself, you will play easy in free time play a games and have fun with fellas.

Wether you carry it in a bagpack or place ot on a table, the size pr weight won't matter.
I doubt many people use them for extended periods of time placed on their laps

I think it also depends on major and where you are from
For example I am majoring in ai and having a beefy gaming laptop is my only choice (dell g15 5530) yes my back is done but my shoulders got stronger somehow (i did want to get xps 15 but it's not available where i live 😢) others who major in something like se got much lighter devices but not as capable

im using m3 air right now. battery last 2 days, never seen any heat problem, really light. one of the best laptop but only problem is price. in my opinion it would worth it
