In fact, when people tell us they tried doing this before they called us, we automatically raise the prices without saying a single word. May be keep the couch out in sun after doing this which can dry out any moisture left behind n prevent chance of growing any mould

Spot clean with just water

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO, DON'T DO THIS HACK, people when trying new hacks always test a small discreet area or better yet do your research first and read reviews. People edit and photoshop a lot of videos to get likes.

Use this method instead:
I use 1:1 ratio of warm water and white vinegar and 1 drop of dish soap/litter of water/vinegar mix (just slight soap) for 1st round, then 2nd round (if needed) 1/3 white vinegar and 2/3 warm water, lastly just water. Vinegar is a cleaner, disinfectant, and fabric softener and will not affect the fabric. Dont worry the smell always goes away. If you want you may add to the last step which is just water 1-2 tbs of Fabtic Refresher Spray Liquid to 1 liter of water and it will smell really nice. Hope this helps.
P.S. don't use detergents cause it will crust or make the fabric tough. Remember thats why clothes need 2 cycles of rinsing in the washing machine.🥰❤️😘

This is horrifying knowing you're GROWING MOLD in YOUR COUCH. So y'all people think it looks and smells nice with minimal stains. The thing is shaving cream works better for spot cleaning smells better doesn't leave stacked residue and water in the outer covering material and foam inside the cushions. 😩🤨🙄 You can do this method with an iron but the laundry detergent is all wrong. With the right equal parts of wood grain alcohol not isopropyl it's not strong enough anymore (especially if God forbid u have someone track in fleas, ticks or bedbugs) and distilled water with a drop or 2 of clear essential oil (s). Also don't be counterproductive and leave oil stains 😂 depending on the soray bottle u mix in and the size will depend also on 1 - 3 Tablespoons of baking soda. At which point soak the washcloth/hand towel. Don't use a microfiber cloth. Same attachment to the iron like the pot lid but make sure it's on the steam setting first doing the entire couch with steam first. Do it again with a hot dry iron and one clean dry cloth youll5be surprised how much that dry cloth get wets and pulls the water and solution and dirt out. Leaving the actual results you were looking for before this back hack u saw somewher. Let the spray mixture stay on for 5 to 20 mins depending just like the bed. So then go back and make your bed. Remember work smart not hard. Then going back to your furniture couch or whatever make sure that cloth is damp not wet and u will have to re wet a few rikes till the first complete pass ober is done. If you're going to do it, do it right or not at all imho of course. Nothing half arse is ever worth doing. so to save time do a few towel clothes ahead of time whenu start your first one and have them off to the side so again they're not 🚫 soaking in the solution sopping wet when u do the change out. Sometimes i think you bired money rich women at home have nothing better to do than do this and film it for views and side hustle money when you actually have all the cleaning machines and or MONEY to hire a company or tell ur maids the specifics for that day for that week😂. Anyway the iron method is the best and an iron is 6 bucks at Wally world and cheaper on temu so please with that nonsense excuse. So the iron ALSO helps to STERILIZE. A POT LID BARELY IF AT ALL sanitizes 🤒🤧🤮🤢🤕👎🖕 and PLEASE. Best to remember to REMOVE ALL CUSHIONS AND VACUUM EVERY CRACK AND CREVICES FIRST BEFORE YOU START THIS project. THE POD DETERGENT ALSO HAS BEEN PROVEN TO KILL KIDS SO IF ANYTHING USE A FEW DROPS OF DAWN DISHWASHING LIQUID WHICH IS MUCH BETTER OR A FEW LIQUID LAUNDRY DETERGENT DROPS. KEEPING in MIND YOU'RE NOT RINSING THAT SOAP OFF AT ALL unless you use a professional company or steam cleaner. This is to avoid thise costs and renting a steam cleaner. SO because BUILD UP IS GOING TO HAPPEN everytime. EVENTUALLY ALL THIS HARD WORK WILL BE FOR NOTHING BUT MISSING QUALITY TIME WITH LOVED ONES. I used gain, but it works really good. And for the ones that say it can lead to allergies, it’s literally the same soap I was my kids clothes in. So no allergies here.

you have to rinse it well and use an extractor. otherwise it'll be ithichy to skin.

Not that wet, just wrong the soap water out first and then use.. plus definitely needs 2-3 extra clean water rinses… what you are showing is wrong on so many levels.. have to use logic, not blindly follow trends

Allow me to debunk your debunking:
* I don't know what the pot lid is for; however it may be an attempt to control the amount of water that enters the upholstery.

1. Upholstery cleaners still leave behind moisture that can mold. You need to dry the couch no matter which method you use.
2. Some people have houses/couches because they are responsible and still have no extra money to buy an upholstery cleaner. It's not their fault.
3. This is not a "hack". It's a method of cleaning fabric of all types. The windows should be open, have good airflow, AND fold up dry towels and pat down on them over the whole couch if you cannot take it outside.

This is awful for your skin and it just leaves a residue on the fabric that will ultimately attract more dirt.
