nooooooooooo. Speed all over the place, just not good. Sorry. Pronunciation bad. English didn't help at all. Won't be buying a ticket for this.

Saw this in person yesterday and it was stunning. Nailing both the music and the acting in this aria is so difficult it's next to never achieved, and I don't know if it was just a night when everything came together spectacularly well, but Krause just smashed it — and moreover did so while performing the whole thing from a wheelchair. One of the most impressive things I've ever seen. Gave me goosebumps. Brought the house down. just wow.

I dislike that the English is barely understandable.

This is why I prefer Pop singers who don’t perform “perfect Opera” but modified Opera in order to give it the emotion and enunciation that allow the words to penetrate
