yep, let's do it
ОтветитьNot wanting to be rude re coffee math.... but $18. a week times 52 weeks = $936. So you actually save even more by making it @ home (minus the "fixings" of course)! Thanks for all the good tips. Appreciated.
ОтветитьLet's do it
ОтветитьThanks Hope and Larry
ОтветитьYour videos are excellent and I’ve watched many of them but please stop saying “actually” constantly. It becomes irritating and distracting.
ОтветитьBought a nespresso and Ninja coffee machine and it has already paid for itself. Had a gold card at Starbucks and used to go daily. Now we’ve been making coffee at home, haven’t been to Starbucks in years. We purchase the pods on sales and stock up. Sometimes we brew from scratch which is cheaper but having the pod machines makes it more fun and has given added peace to my marriage
ОтветитьHope, I love your blouse ❤
ОтветитьOur family chooses January and September for no spend months. We don't have birthdays during those months. They are also the months following larger spending months. (The December holidays and back to school season in August)
ОтветитьI just love you two! Thanks for all of the practical tips and information.
ОтветитьI cancelled my Amazon account at the beginning of this year and just don’t miss it. I feel better about trying to buy from local companies and enjoy supporting them. We will miss our small shops when they’re gone!
Ответить6×3=18 3 times per week,
18×52=936 per year $$$$$
It is actually more than you estimated. Money can disappear so fast if you buy fast food or any other cooked food on a regular basis.
You brought a really good point with coffee.
Do you have any advice for a single lady drawing only a meager social security check of 980.00? How to live comfortably and be able to save back
ОтветитьLarry's hair looks wonderful.
ОтветитьI spent seventeen dollars on a delivery from Burger King for a small breakfast sandwich and a iced coffee 😢
ОтветитьStay out of shops
ОтветитьLet’s do it 👌
ОтветитьI love watching you too, keep up the videos and thank you
ОтветитьLet's do it
ОтветитьShe does the same hand signs as Donald Trump in a lot of these videos lol
ОтветитьWhen i can i get free food and I have jobs working doing things that i enjoy.
ОтветитьI never go to Starbucks. To treat myself i go to Del Taco and pay a little over $2 for iced coffee and that tastes just as good as Starbucks.
ОтветитьThe Starbucks 😮💨 it really is a challenge. I have been struggling with coffee in general. I started drinking coffee at 12 or 13 when i would visit my dad once a month, and that spiraled pretty quickly into an emotional thing...i drink coffee because it makes me feel connected even on a very surface level with my dad. Last december, i had an ER visit because my heart was racing inexplicably while i was completely as rest. They never told me to stip caffeine, but i felt thats what i was supposed to do anyways. So i was "caffeine free" for about 6 months, meaning i am still drinking decaf 2 to 3 times a day. Starbucks makes it very easy to spend that money, being drive thru and on ever other street corner. That company knows what theyre doing.
ОтветитьI love binge watching your shows. I'm about to try the 10% cut on my groceries. I already implement a tight budget and have done for q number of years now. I just wish we had a British version of your food shop saving videos!! ❤
ОтветитьWhenever my husband and I get a Starbucks card, we save it for when we go on vacation. That way we don’t pay for coffee on the way there and home. Starbucks is a special treat and now the taste of it reminds me of going to the beach!
ОтветитьAny time,I spend only out of my side hustle money, 🤑
ОтветитьLet’s do it!
ОтветитьSpeaking of math, a month is 4 weeks but don’t forget a year is not 48 weeks but 52 so all these numbers are actually even higher.
I understand the example though
Let’s do it!
ОтветитьLet's do it!
ОтветитьI don’t go to Starbucks daily or weekly, but only once in a while.
ОтветитьLarry is the Ned Flanders of saving money. Love you guys 😊
ОтветитьLet’s do it!!

ОтветитьUp and away
ОтветитьWhen my guy moved across the country to move in with me it was very strange at first when he would consult me before spending HIS money. $20 belt, new boots, spending money at the Dentist. I hadn't had a guy who did that before. I never even considered consulting him before buying stuff for myself from Sephora or Ulta. Well, 2 years later, we're engaged getting married this summer. This is the best relationship I've ever been in, and I truly believe one of the main reasons is because our financial relationship is so good. Most of the time when he tells me he wants to spend money on clothes like a new coat or whatever I'm like "YES, PLEASE spend money on yourself" because I feel like he really doesn't buy himself stuff on a regular basis but it's just how he grew up. I'm more of a weekly "special purchase" person and he's more of a monthly "special purchase" type. For me, I'm a major couponer so when he tells me he wants to buy something I instantly try to find an online coupon code or deal to save him money. I really think that's one of the top reasons he loves me so much is because I do everything I can to save him money. Just to be fair, I started telling him about my purchases beforehand now too. I was on an eye cream kick during Christmas trying all these new products and yet another one came out that I wanted. I was telling him it was on sale at Sephora. He was like "come with me" walked me over to my vanity of products and was like "eye cream, eye cream, eye cream, eye cream" hahahah I mean, yeah there's no REAL reason that I NEED it, it's just that I WANT it. But the way he says it doesn't make me feel like he's being controlling or telling me what to do, he's just pointing out like "hey don't forget you got ALL THESE right here, maybe you should use one up before you buy another one." He's actually helped me a lot when it comes to beauty spending. It's very freeing like emotionally to be able to talk to your partner about money without it turning into an argument.
ОтветитьLet's do it! 💰
ОтветитьYes
ОтветитьYesterday I went to the 4th Brigade meeting for Civil War Re-enacting. I helped myself to a free bottle of cold water, and took notes for the meeting. But when it was over, a bunch of the people were adjourning to the nearby restaurant. I thought about it, and told my companion, I can't do this. With this storm coming in (there is a tropical storm coming in today) I want to get home before the weather really gets bad. It was a good idea; I went through a few sprinkles on the way home, had most of the time clear driving, got home before the storm, had a late lunch at the house, and never missed the restaurant excursion. It would have been the first trip to a restaurant in over a year.
ОтветитьI never really got into Starbucks. Can't help it, when I lived in Naples, Florida, I went to the two-story Barnes and Nobles, but never a starbucks. We had coffee at home, and I drank that. Since coming to Apopka, Florida I have never had cable, and I don't miss it either. For a number of years up here I didn't even have wifi at the house, though now I need it and I have that.
ОтветитьLet’s do it Sydney 🇦🇺
ОтветитьI enjoy browsing Amazon but I utilize wishlists. If I see an item I want to buy, I add it to the wishlist and wait 30 days. In 30 days of if I still want the item and it’s within budget, I’ll buy it. Most of the time I just end up deleting things off my wishlist because the impulse has passed.
ОтветитьI'm going to do it ...I know where I been spending to much & I am going to cut back ...
ОтветитьLet’s do it…
ОтветитьYou are singing to the choir. When I was younger I spent money wastefully. Never thought about how eating out was costing me thousands a year. Most people love to spend and hate to save. I think you have to make saving a positive experience. When I see my savings increase I feel good. Seeing interest building up is satisfying. We need to learn to enjoy saving as much as you do..
ОтветитьI’m making soups and stews in the crockpot.
ОтветитьLets do it 😊.
