The world will end when the LPL open a lock by just gently asking it to open!
The end is near!
Ukrao sam jedna bicikl zahvaljujuci vasem upustvu hvala vam idem sad da ukradem jos nekoliko
ОтветитьThe fact you could just put it into "operator mode" to change the code without a special tool is a red flag to start off with
ОтветитьNot sure if it has been mentioned yet, but the other stupid design aspect is the lever to change the combo at will.
Anyone can just scramble the combo and walk away, leaving the real owner screwed. Come to think of it, anyone can just change it, then open it with the new combo they just set.
LPL: This is the LockPickingLawyer….. Lock: Ohh fuck 😢
ОтветитьAm I missing something? Couldn't a thief just flip the switch to "change code" mode and enter their own combo then back to operating mode to open it?
Ответитьat least we get back lock without a scratch on it
...
WT actual F! Has the Abus brand name been sold to god knows where?
I know why the lock companies tend to sell such terrible locks. Because production of those is cheaper. Substantial cheaper over the long run.*
Not like the average customer can tell if a lock is more or less secure. So they (customers) buy the stuff anyway. And so the lock companies don't bother, they only make the lock look secure. Or have features the marketing department can boast with (in ads or on the package).
*=You had that one lock recently where one company had a padlock where you could reach through the lock and engage the unlocking mechanism behind. And you said it is an easy and cheap fix. Well, technically it is, but they have to integrate that into the production line, and that is what is expensive. So they don't bother.
Level 8 security? More like level 0 security, wow that is lame and if i used it i can guarantee my bike is gone.
ОтветитьSo much for German Engineering. Presuming it actually is German engineered.
ОтветитьLabel says “Security level 8”.
Does that mean 8 seconds to open?
Unlocked with your eyes. That's a new low.
ОтветитьSo "level 8" means you may need your spectacles if you're short sighted?
ОтветитьI like my new bike
ОтветитьWhen LPL locks up his bike he throws the keys into a drain on purpose
ОтветитьIt always amuses me that LPL videos would be half as long if he didn't repeat it to prove it was not a fluke. ... "gone in 90 seconds"
ОтветитьThere goes German reputation for engineering. How embarrassing is that...?
ОтветитьHe has ascended to the next level. Nirvana is next.
ОтветитьI always wondered whether some evil joker could go into a store, and just change the combinations of the locks on the shelf. Then the buyers will have problems using the locks they just bought...
ОтветитьI have a locked bike lock this. I'm not sure what I did to lock it. Maybe flipped that thing I didn't even know was there.
But I don't know how you did it? I can't see what you did...😢
He’s too powerful
Ответитьchanged lock combo while lock was closed, if so what would stop someone changing combo while you have it locked so that you don't know combo
ОтветитьGoddamn @Abus
ОтветитьNo one asked about that crazy flashlight that I suddenly feel I need...fir no good reason?
Yet have no idea what type it even is.
It looks like you put it in change mode, changed the combo (to something you could theoretically know) and decoded it. What stops you from just changing it to a desired number in change mode and then opening it up using that number?
ОтветитьAbus should just change the packaging: Security level 0.
ОтветитьI remember doing this with a safe. We didn't know the code but I was able to figure out by watching the mechanism between numbers.
ОтветитьA combination bike lock seems obnoxious. Like who has the time for it
ОтветитьIn times where bike thieves run around with battery powered grinders, I wonder if any bike lock is of any use – besides making it a bit harder for insurance not to pay.
ОтветитьIf you lock your bike with that, someone can just come by and scramble your combination?
ОтветитьAm I the only one that thought of NES cartridges when seeing that packaging?
ОтветитьSelling this stuff with possibility to change the code in shop isn't a great idea
ОтветитьEngineered in Germany but “Made in …..”
ОтветитьWould've been hilarious if it was a joke video, and you "visually decoded" the lock by reading the combination written on a post-it note.
ОтветитьLPL can open some locks with just HIS MIND.
ОтветитьToo easyyyy
ОтветитьI bet that there's a tiny gap so the numbers can be turned easily. Because if it was tighter, I guess it would be harder to turn. I also bet that they know there's a gap but think that barely anyone will be looking into that anyway.
Well they would be wrong, lol
Nice video. It worked and i can open my lock, thanks.
ОтветитьYou make the brands effort more as they must
ОтветитьWhy can't I crack mine I can't work out what he is seeing
ОтветитьSecurity level 8... -.-
ОтветитьABUS is a joke!
ОтветитьGreat demonstration.
ОтветитьYou should check out "Abus Super Extreme 2500" U-Lock. We are all llooking for the ultimate security when it comes to bikes and motorcycles. Don't know what is the price tag in US (~300-350 USD ?) but in EU it is 300 EUR.
ОтветитьI've always wondered-
On these combination locks where the operating switch is accessible from the front...
What's keeping someone from just changing the password to something they know to open it??
Never thought Abus would have us better off just getting a bus.
ОтветитьJust opened one up in seconds 😅 the #1 digit is possible to see also just harder 🤣
ОтветитьHello Mr LockPickingLawyer!
I have a Abus 1200 3 digit codelock and I can't remember the combination. Also the combination plate that came with it is in my ex girlfriends home, so can't/don't wanna get it.
I have tried lots of different picking styles, but since I don't know the correct style I've just been failing.
Can you please help me by showing me how it's done 🙏
We call this unlock code less 😂
ОтветитьHas anyone actually ever made a good combination lock?
Ответить
