his intentions aren't entirely wrong but the approach is. being a man doesn't necessarily mean to be a professional handyman or a car engineer at 8 or be a bodybuilder at 6. it runs deeper than even actions can show.

I was like that boy once, all the way down to wanting to be a girl. My father was emotionally abusive as well and wanted me to be a "man". My life got really bad from puberty and only got worse as the years passed. It only started to get better once I started hormone replacement therapy. Changes were slow, but they happened, and with each new change, the crushing stress of being trapped in my own body started to ease, bit by bit. After a year on hormones, I'm starting to look like myself. Me and my dad aren't on speaking terms anymore, but that's ok because he's a garbage human being. Honestly, I'm happy with how my life is going.

For the transphobes in the comments, I wrote this for myself, not you, so you can take your "ratio" and stick it. Also, I've heard the 41 percent and chromosomes arguments before, they were flawed then, and flawed now.

Bad parents seem to permeate all through human history. My dad would beat me, ground me, and threaten to give me away as a child. He would purposely avoid doing things that would make me happy. I have been tested in my adult years, and it was determined I am on the spectrum. It breaks my heart to think where I would be if he only embraced my energy and creativity instead of trying to beat it out of me. Fathers out there, there is nothing wrong with discipline, but please don’t discipline when you are angry.

Hi Trans person speaking. I have a few things to say. 1. Gender dysphoria (feeling of discomfort with your birth sex) does not have to be physical. It can be social as well, like wanting to wear certain clothes or be called a certain name. 2. It is normal to question your gender identity, but no one can make you transgender. It's not contagious. 3. Less than 1% of people who go through any sort of gender transition go on to detransiton. 4. Trans people are not transgender because of trauma. The 41% study is inaccurate and leaves out the fact that correlation is not causation. And 5. This is a bit of my personal opinion, but I think trans kids should be allowed to take puberty blockers since they're completely reverse able.
Sorry for the speech, but some of y'all looking real silly out here.
