Imagine making this unfinished game(they chosed grinding over gameplay since first chronic, letting ton of amazing concepts with a weird feeling) into something that have actual roleplaying mechanics (because of the beauty of the game there where roleplaying dudes on the first chronicles x'd), with actual npc races faction fighting each other and actual siege mechanics

Unreal engine is more suitable for lineage 2

I recently downloaded L2 because of nostalgia and after many years and a couple mmos, this game's atmosphere and aesthetics keeps being just majestic, as a game developer myself couldn't stop my mind going on and on about how it would benefit from more modern mechanics and animations as everything else just looks perfect <3 didn't think there were people actually doing it!

I have some of the best memories from this game. I played Dev. pretty much till there wasn't a Dev. With all its flaws they got so much right in L2. Hard to believe it has been 20 years! I love what you are doing here.

I appreciate all of your efforts put into creating this game :). My MMO RPG gaming journey also started with Lineage 2 and Granado Espada. I wanted to make games, and funnily enough, after years of my bachelor and master studies in mathematics, I do my PhD in the VR field and use Unity for the projects. Those games also contributed to who I am right now :).

Any extra progress after 11 months? we really need a Lineage 2 Remastered or Lineage 3 at this point

I would love a singleplayer Lineage 2 with bots (I have no time for MMO's nowadays), but I think thats a bigger can of worms than just updating it to a new engine.

old lineage2 gives you better vibe being an adventurer from newbie that grinds to the top to become S class adventurer
