I feel bad for the Tau tbh.
I’m not a Tau player….or a huge fan on them.
But they are very interesting and got their work cut out for them.

Many consider the T'Au "not evil enough".
I think they're just a different type of evil.

(I also like to say they are "a smart type of evil").

I feel the fact that the tau don't have the emperor like character making all the decisions but instead a council that actively show we don't treat our ppl like shit tells why the have highest chance to succeed. I doubt they will ever have ai attacking them because there more than like to treat them like regular people something the humans were lacking

It'd be ironic if the tau va tried to slowly kill off the Tau and replace them with other xenos, because they have weak souls "for the greater good"

Would be cool if the Tau represented part of Vash’torr’s ascension into godhood. They may not empower him through faith, but such was never necessary to begin with. None of the chaos gods were created through faith, they were created through action and/or intention. Faith is merely their most effective tool in manipulating mortal minds. Thus millennia of unfettered technological innovation on the part of the Tau has fed The Arkifane as much if not more than the Dark Mechanicum, I’d wager. After all, the Mechanicus doesn’t innovate at any rate comparable to the Tau. No other race in the relatively recent past of the setting has so blatantly represented technological advancement.

We saw "Tau god" helping them in a fight against folowers of Nurgle. It has hot many arms and no face. If only we knew other god in a setting that hates Nurgle and has undescraible face. 🤔

One of the things I love about the Tau are how the establish humans as a terrifying ancient race. The fact there weren't wiped out immediately upon discovery is a miracle and casts humanity as almost an eldritch horror that could have wiped them out without knowing or caring who they are

Gonna say my theory about the tao I think it would be interesting if they had their own dark age of technology where the chaos gods infect their ai on a mass scale

Btw did you notice that there are specifically 8 warp points in segmentum solar that allow entry and exit, and chaos's symbol is an 8 pointed star. So is the emperor and terra sitting at the centre of a galactic chaos symbol? And what this means the emperor might become....

I really hope farsight doesnt fall to chaos since that would just become a boring remake of 30k. In fact I hope it goes the opposite direction where Farsight becomes the savior of the Tau empire.

Tau somehow looked like Necrons before biotransference. Think about it. Both are non warp only tech and build a society in mostly the same way, just instead of "dynasty" they use word "cast" and instead of "phareons" they use word "etherial". And if you look close on cast symbols they suspiciously look like necron Ankh's. And if you look at some more advanced Necrons - they have a signs on their foreheads at the same place and resemblances as Tau nostrils, and Lords have jems similar on the same place that etherials have. Also, their lifetime is kinda similar ~50-60 years. Tau are just lost and forgotten in stazis for 60mill.years Necrontiers and get unfreezed.

For ai and humans it all may be due to use demons souls so tau may make working ai or not making to advance one

The Tau is an analog of China in the Warhammer Universe, and like China the greatest flaw is their corrupt leaders and culture where they believe in the group outweighs the individual which keeps their corrupt leaders that can not be criticized.

I am suprised how a very large percentage of the population fails to notice the fact that the tau are very VERY obiously evil - like cartoonishly so.

My theory is that the Tau cause Vashtorr the Arkifane to grow in power. This is what ties them to them the warp.

Outside of the Startide Nexus (the dimensional gateway between their Sept worlds and the Nem'yar Atoll, which was created accidentally), the Tau travel by basically skipping on the edge of the warp using small jumps. Its much slower compared to the Imperium but safer. Its almost like skipping a stone across a lake, where as the Imperium dives under its surface to pop up somewhere else.
