Looks like a giant asteroid broke into several pieces and crashed. Then erosion "sanded" the impact features to give them a circular appearance. Initally would have been jagged and much deeper. Glaciers like 60 grit sandpaper. Who knows the lat. long. where that lithological package was when impacted. The features are elipsoidal indicating a direction of impact. A trend in all of the features would confirm this. Humans are only renting planet earth until she decides our time is up.

I recently found LiDAR imagery databases related to the Carolina Bays and Nebarska Rainwater basins and got hooked on looking at how incredibly wide and massive the North Platte River was sometime in the past. Well, I happen to fly aircraft and had a 'mission' up around Kearney which is at the heart of this ancient river. I have been there many times by air and never before noticed how striking the ancient river bed is. Incredibly wide and almost unseen if you weren't looking for it. Some massive waters moved across the planet some time ago.

I live is SW KS and you can see the old river beds here and at one point in time a massive amount of water had flowed through here like rivers that are 10 miles wide (in some spots) and anywhere from 20 to 50 feet deep, it is insane to think about how much water that was.

Personally I believe that these are affects of the great flood pieces of mountains hurled through the air and crashed into the ground creating these craters or maybe there are entry points where water shot from but Idk fs.

It could also be from when the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs hit our atmosphere. If the bays are on the east coast alone that would make more sense to me. Great content

Where did you come up with this theory? You make people like John Anthony west, Graham Hancock, Randall Carlson and Robert Schoch look bad when you offer up an alternative explanation like this with nothing backing it up. Where's and prove, evidence or data to back up the claims? You think half a million pieces of ice cause the bays? Where's the impact site of the comet/asteroid that caused this? You should maybe say the comet impact they found in Greenland dating to the last ice might have gave been bigger and broke apart upon entering the atmosphere and big pieces of debris possibly caused the bays. You realize how big of an impact there would have to be to cause big enough pieces of ice to rain down and cause the bays? You should always have. Friend or someone challenge your theory before you post it. I hope you don't take this as hate or anything. You can do better before you post.

Just a qyick suggestion: I've been told the great pyramid+surrounding ones are placed like a star sign, I believe it was Orion. do other structures on the circle of buildings round the globe have star sign positions too? That could be a new path to investigate

If we go by that hypothesis, how come all or the vast majority of 'flung' ice are circular? Wouldn't there be a lot of different shapes?

I lived here all my life and old timers said that they where from a great meteor shower. There’s a lake called crater lake and it was made by a big meteor. I would guess that many of the meteors would be on that same flight path give a answer to why there seen from North Carolina to New York. I would bet they get smaller as you go north… and I also believe there was a ancient river that was gigantic. The first half of the state from the coast to the Piedmont is basically old old sandy river bottom. Great video I never seen them from the air. I knew how big they where but you have to see this from above to truly understand how big this is. Thank you for showing our beautiful state
