I went on a three week road trip in the US West Coast to discover the most unusual tourist attractions I could find. Well, I wasn't disappointed - the US really is filled with strange and unusual things to see!

The tourist attractions I explored include the following:

- Pioneertown, a fully functional 1880s western town that's been used as a film set, vacation spot...and permanent residence
- The Spruce Street Suspension Bridge in San Diego. Not at all what I expected to find in the middle of the city!
- A urinal that Mick Jagger releaved himself in, located in Tivoli Bar & Grill - the oldest bar in the San Diego Gaslamp District
- America's most haunted house - the Whaley House in San Diego Old Town
- Sunny Jim's Sea Cave in La Jolla. Amazing dug out cave that may have been used for smuggling as well
- Cabazon Dinosaurs, a roadside attration filled with dinosaurs...that apparently used to be a Creationist museum at one point
- The first ever McDonald's restaurant, with a museum full of McDonald's memorabilia
- Echo Park Time Travel Mart, in Los Angeles. Everything you need for your time travel adventures
- Scum and Villainy Cantina in Hollywood. By geeks, for geeks!
- La Brea Tar Pits. This isn't very unusual for locals, but for me it was completely amazing to see huge sloths and mammoths and sabertooth tigers
- The chakra healers and whatnot at Venice Beach were certainly quite strange...
- Nick Howell Legacy Bench at Morro Bay. Dedicated to the best damn diesel mechanic in Morro Bay
- A look at Hearst Castle as well as Nitt Witt Ridge - two castles built by men with visions. Even if those visions were quite different
- The elephant seal rookery north of Cambria. Full of loud and smelly seals!
- I stumbled upon the Portal to Big Sur in Ragged Point
- Lots of weird things in San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf. Electronics stores, Magowan's Infinite Mirror Maze, a piano staircase, Musee Mechanique, and lots of sea lions
- San Francisco Wave Organ. An organ that doesn't really make much sound at all
- The Yoda Fountain and the Lucasarts Lobby in San Francisco. Full of Star Wars memorabilia!
- Chinese Camp, a gold rush ghost town with a few surprises. Lots of uranium for one thing!
- Colombia State Historic Park, an attempt to recreate an 1850s town filled with stage coaches and gold panning
- The Mojave Space Port! But there really wasn't much to see there...
- Area 51 with its many alien conspiracies and alien merchandise stores
- And finally, I also need to mention Las Vegas. How could I make a video about weird tourist attractions and not include it?
