I love this video, I’m just now getting into the hair jigs so that was very helpful
ОтветитьHair jig is the way to go, been tying them for a while now. My opinion is with hair jigs more time for the bait in the water less time fixing the bait on the hook and they are tough. I fished plastic for years and still do from time to time. I tie a lot of 64th and 32nd
I like to downsize, big fish eat small baits.. Nothing better than an 80th ounce Bluegill jig catching slab crappie.
Great video as usual matt! Always a knowledgeable fun great experience with 3poundfishing! A+
ОтветитьGreat content!
ОтветитьLooks like feather! I think of squirrel tail as hair!!
Ответить3 pound, where are you wearing your camera? Chesty mount?
ОтветитьFor me the discipline is this. I keep one of each tied on two separate rods. When going to lakes where you know that certain colors of hair work all the time then hair it is. When going to a lake where the fish will change up on you ill go with plastics.
ОтветитьI’ll take a plastic over a hair any day. Never had much luck on hair jigs.
Ответитьl use hair mostly
ОтветитьHow far apart do you put your split and what weight do you use
ОтветитьBeen making hair jigs, feathers, and rubber skirted crappie jigs for a couple years now. The only time I like plastic over hair is in muddy water I like a curly tail or boot tail for vibration purposes.
ОтветитьWhat screen is that ? Looks awesome
ОтветитьLove all of your videos. What do you have around your cables to protect them? I’m scared I’m going to hang mine on the trolling motor putting out or picking up
ОтветитьWow! When did real fishing become a video game?
ОтветитьGreat video content. You earned my sub today.
ОтветитьAre you using braid or using mono
ОтветитьNice!!!
ОтветитьIf you take it off with your teeth, I'd suggest a lead level blood test
ОтветитьHal fly, plastic with a feather insert and tail. Unbeatable for crappie and hybrid bass.
ОтветитьHey what kind and size is that live scope and where can I get one like that
ОтветитьGreat video. I would rather catch 30 + crappie a day than 6 bass. I’m almost strictly a hair/feather jig guy. I tie my own and have various color combos, but all white or chartreuse combo are my go to.
ОтветитьWhere is home base
ОтветитьWhat size split shot do you use ?
ОтветитьI tried it on the tm, like it much better on a pole, but that’s just me
ОтветитьWhat kind of stand do you have your screen on? Does it fold down? Thanks
ОтветитьWhere do you get that style of jig head?
Ответитьwhat type of fishing line are u using
ОтветитьSo no movement needed..just toss it in and not on the bottom.... So a slip bobber setup would work too?
ОтветитьI’m here to find out the size of the split shot. That’s all I need to know
ОтветитьAnd you guys really call this fishing 🤨 lol
Ответитьhold on did you say you took off and put on split shot with your teeth? you use pliers because there made out of lead
ОтветитьUsing a boat and a sonar like that… you can hone in on anything. The challenge is…. Finding the fish.
ОтветитьMy name is Michael Lockhart I had just subscribed to your channel.
ОтветитьBring back feather tail jigs. Make crappie fishing great again
ОтветитьMind sharing what size split shot you use?
ОтветитьI am a 65 year old lady that absolutely loves to Crappie fish .. yes hair jig is my fave . But .. gosh, durnet that dang fish finder is just cheatin!! The whole fun of crappie fishing to me is the hunt , then the kicking back and cleaning out a hole . Lol . I belly boat fish , so I just kick from one spot to another . Have fun young man !! Enjoyed your video !!!
ОтветитьQuestion about the scope. Why does the depth keep jumping from 28ft to 4ft?
