2 hours resting........ Wouldn't it be cold
Ответить2 hours resting? It will be stone cold by the time you serve dinner
ОтветитьTOTAL SHITE, Ramsey's recipe is 100 times better.
ОтветитьCooking this 25th Christmas day.thanks for sharing idol...
ОтветитьShould I set the oven at a lower temperature if it's a fan oven?
ОтветитьJamie what temp should thermometer read when turkey is cooked

Ответить7
ОтветитьThank you for an amazing Xmas day turkey, Jamie!
ОтветитьLooks delicious 😋 yum 😋 yum thanks for sharing your recipe Jamie 😁
ОтветитьThis turkey will taste bland as hell except for the skin. No injection into the meet, nothing under the asking... just butter with salt and pepper over the skin? The some stuff that doesn't seem like much seasoning going and one piece of fruit which would make it sweet colliding with the salt of the skin. Maybe in Europe this would be ok turkey but this is going to be cardboard taste without skin. That breast will taste like air.
ОтветитьUnderneath the skin not on top
ОтветитьJust like Gordon says, the moment you let it rest for a longer hours, the better it gets.Nice job Jamie!cheers!
ОтветитьHi Jamie I would like to have the receipt to try and cook your big roast turkey for family and our friends for Christmas
ОтветитьIt won’t be cold. You have to put it under foils AND A THICK TOWEL.
The turkey will be steaming hot. Promise.
It was quick and practical, thanks
ОтветитьI hate aluminium foil, its dangerous for body..sorry jamie this recipe not my favorite
ОтветитьMeh, after watching this, and seeing him screw up chicken fried rice,...I'm going to stick to Gordon Ramsay's Christmas Turkey
ОтветитьNo way is anyone at my house letting a cooked turkey sit untouched for two hours. Maybe I’ll try it by myself sometime!
ОтветитьIsnt 70 degrees to less for Turkey??
ОтветитьCan you come to Malta and do it for us please
ОтветитьWhy in heavens name would you rest your cooked turkey for two hours unless the point is to serve it cold?
ОтветитьThank you this is a lovely inspiring video. My turkey is going to be epic.
ОтветитьDoes anyone have stuffing recipe?
ОтветитьAnyone knows, why the turkey has to be cooled? Can't it also be served hot?
ОтветитьCame here because someone recommended this video for the "perfect" turkey. However I have never heard of letting a turkey rest for 2 hours. That's just asking for food poisoning.
ОтветитьThat butter suppose to go under the skin on the breast...otherwise it will melt off in the first 10 minutes
Ответитьwhat tempature should the thermometer read?
ОтветитьI cook my Turkey on the lowest temperature through the night covered with foil then take it off for the last 45 minutes to brown it off on a higher temperature for the last 20years just like my dad when he was alive at home,so tender & juicy.🍗
ОтветитьI followed this recipe last year and it’s the first time I’ve ever had moist turkey! Will be doing it again this year 🦃 🎅🏻 Thank you, Jamie!
ОтветитьPOV:All of these comments are more than 2yrs ago.Let me change that.
ОтветитьJamie really knows his stuff. So much better than GR.
ОтветитьCheers Jimmy, we usually smoke outdoors, but went trad this year, so going with this recipe ‘lovely jubbly’! Happy Christmas.
ОтветитьDO NOT PUT THE LIVER AND GIZZARDS IN YOUR TURKEY PAN. They go extremely bitter when overcooked and will ruin your gravy and potentially your turkey!
ОтветитьTurkey was great thanks. I also added some Italian bacon on top.
Ответитьthis recipe is really good. Jaime Oliver knows...
Ответитьthe chiken ; I am going to be a tasty food in someones plate 😂🍗🤤🔪😘
ОтветитьCan I use chicken or duck? I can’t get turkey where I live 😅

ОтветитьWhat about the gravy????
ОтветитьJamie, if you ever read this: I’m 54 yo and you’ve been one of my heroes for a long time.
Also this year you were part of our Christmas dinner.
Thanks for everything you’ve done so far.
Merry Christmas and all the best wishes for you and your loved ones for the New Year.
Festive Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
we tried the recipe for the last 2 Christmas: in 2022 with a turkey and in 2023 with a capon! wonderful! so tender! The stuffing, the gravy...uhm!!! thank you! Have a very Happy New Year!
ОтветитьWhy did he add jam into his gravy ?
ОтветитьTwo hours?? How am I doing this so wrong? Most other sources say one hour max??
ОтветитьAluminum foil is not healthy to use, any other suggestions?
