I think the most important thing about goals is:
1. it must represent a measurable success. In other words, it has to reach a value where you can say exactly: achieved or not achieved.
2. It needs consequent regularly review (every week or month)

I've tried everything up to complex tracking systems in Notion.... that doesn't work for me! The simpler the better... I just write my goals in Craft and have monthly or weekly sub-results in a table. That way I can check exactly what I have done and achieved. This also has a psychological effect: because you can see everything at a glance, you are motivated to continue or are happy when you can mark something as "achieved".
