Nice, thanks.
ОтветитьSources???
ОтветитьI would like to know the name of the oil you used and, was it a clear oil? Thanks!
ОтветитьHow does the density compare to black walnut? Looks great!
ОтветитьBeautiful table! I have used this in a few projects, and it is absolutely gorgeous. Chocolate brown, and very easy to work. Peruvian Walnut is another common name for it.
ОтветитьHow is it to work with hand tools? I don't have many power tools so I have to use handplanes for shaping.
ОтветитьSo juglans tropica is endangered, and has seen a 50% reduction in population over the past 3 generations, what are you guys doing to ensure that the wood you source is harvested sustainably?
ОтветитьA lot of tropical woods can have a high silica content that will dull your tools quicker. Does this one have that issue?
ОтветитьDid anyone else hear Mark's wife yell, "MARK !! Get a coaster !!" lol
ОтветитьIt's not nearly as rigid as Black Walnut (i.e the deflection). You could make a guitar neck from Black Walnut, but Peruvian Walnut would flex too much.
ОтветитьI love the swirl and high figure of walnut, it’s the reason I go for it. I’d try trop walnut though, would be great for certain projects.
ОтветитьNice wood, will add that to my list.
ОтветитьNice 🥲
ОтветитьI love the simple and modern design. Can you post a link to the design and measurements of the 3 legged base?
ОтветитьBeautiful finish. What finish did you use?
ОтветитьLooks beautiful thanks for sharing
ОтветитьDoes the color fade resistant?
ОтветитьWhat’s the difference between Peruvian Walnut and this new Tropical Walnut?
ОтветитьThis particular tree is endangered.
ОтветитьI have worked several thousand board feet of this wood over the past 35 years and it is right there with genuine mahogany as my favorite.
ОтветитьWhich do you prefer, clean grain or knots?
