The 757 on most of the cases takes off on Flex thrust ❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьThe flying pencil is so cooool!
ОтветитьAlex, hi from NW Cowtown 😂. Agree I love the look of 757 and 767"s , livery is excellent.
Ответить757-200
ОтветитьYAY trip report!!😊
ОтветитьUnsure if turning down a NINE DOLLAR First Class upgrade shows commitment to the craft of travel vlogging or genuine insanity. 😮
ОтветитьThe last of the "muscle" jets, their power to weight ratio was great!
ОтветитьThe departure out of Reno was spectacular! Great video as always!
ОтветитьIf they just flew to bigger destinations that actually have a market big enough to support 757s, they might have made enough money to actually get their ETOPS rating and actually start their Anchorage hub.
ОтветитьDamn, that's one hell of a beautiful livery.. That climb out of KONT and the thrust reduction of the buzzsawing RB211's is a beautiful song
ОтветитьHave seen a couple of these in Ottawa doing NHL charters so far this season.
ОтветитьYou had to appreciate flying in a 757 for the first time in the 80's going from the anemic take off and climb out of the 727's and DC's to the rocket of the 757, what a hoot.
ОтветитьShe gets up in a hurry
Ответить757 best plane.
That initial climb-out was INSANE, gotta love these birds. It will be sad to see them go.
Absolutely love the 757. Got to fly on a Delta 757 back in 2002 such an awesome aircraft that had it's production cut waybtok earlier.
ОтветитьI had to chuckle when you said that you were told that it would “get bumpy” descending into RNO. When DOESN’T it get bumpy going into RNO? Or out of RNO for that matter? My two 757 flights were MSP-MKE and DEN-ABQ. Amazing aircraft.
ОтветитьWhat a cool airline! I'd fly with them any chance I could get! Hoping they succeed in this extremely difficult segment of airline flights ✈️ 🙏 ❤😊
I've always been a huge fan of the 757 it's a total pocket rocket 🚀 of passenger jets! Love the 757's angle of attack on the climb outs
I think they're on to something with copy/pasting Icelandair to Alaska (Alaskalandair?). If New Pacific Airlines doesn't capitalize, probably someone else will.
Ответить757 is a rocket!
ОтветитьI love the ‘57’, hopefully UA and DL will slow walk their plans to remove this graceful bird from their fleets.
ОтветитьIt would be nice if they eventually offer the Asian Pacific flights!
ОтветитьWell this wont last long
ОтветитьThe St. Louis Blues are one of the NHL teams that uses New Pacific as their charter airline.
ОтветитьUnpopular opinion maybe, but Boeing did not make a mistake stopping production of these and made the right call to go all in with 737 NG family and have the 737-900ER fulfill at least some of the 757 market. I’m not sure anyone could have foresaw how the middle-of-market, direct flights to small cities market, would have played out in the 15-20 years since 757 production stopped. Even if it could be fitted with modern engines, it would stand little chance against the A321neo family because the 75 is just so much heavier. Regardless, still such a cool airplane and I really would like to fly on one soon and experience that takeoff 😊 Great video Alex!
ОтветитьThe Rolls Royce RB211 sounds like the CFM56 engines
ОтветитьWhy Boeing stopped making this fine flying machine is still baffling?
ОтветитьNew Pacific is the charter airline for the Carolina Hurricanes in Raleigh, NC, so we get to see these guys every now and then at RDU in addition to Delta’s 757s that go to ATL
ОтветитьAmazing ! This is my airport that I always plane spot!
ОтветитьWe have northern southern eastern and western airlines!
ОтветитьI notice a big plus of using 757 is that the front seats would not be disturbed by the economy passengers. Didn't thought that before.
ОтветитьOh wow Alex, the nose reminds me of the old DC 3's and 4's noses.😍😍
ОтветитьLove those RR engine sounds!🙂🙃
ОтветитьSounds like it'll be another short lived airline.
Ответитьis the 757 safe? never rode in one, but theres an option on a flight from SFO to HNL !
ОтветитьThat beast with its sound! That's awesome! Great video this! It brought back memories from my childhood during which I flew 11 times on B752s exclusively, on Finnair, Spanair and Airtours International specifically. 🤓
ОтветитьI think my two favourite times when flying is going down the jetway, firstly because I'm finally boarding the airplane, and secondly, I've arrived at my destination. I spend way too much time on long layovers, as my normal flight usually involves three destinations.
ОтветитьGreat video as always
ОтветитьThe Flight decks window painted in black around the sides Makes it seem like an a320/321 neo
ОтветитьI get Ontario (in CA) confused with Orange County/John Wayne Airport…
Don’t know about the new “dual view” thang…
They tried to give the 757 eyeliner 😂
ОтветитьI live in Reno, and most flights are a bit bumpy coming and going. I never knew this airline existed and stopped here. Good review.
ОтветитьI feel sorry for everyone who was involved with North Pacific and New Pacific....except the owners and management. NP only operated the scheduled service in order to satisfy investor requirements and as soon as it was demonstrated that the scheduled service was a huge money looser they stopped. The parent company, RAVN Alaska has already been almost bankrupt for years due to crap management and borderline money laundering. RAVN was itself born from several sales and mergers of smaller, formerly very important Alaska regional carriers, most notably Frontier Flying Service of Fairbanks. Us Alaskans were shocked when North Pacific was announced and seemingly had acquired 757s...at the same time their Alaska operations with the remaining regionals and RAVN were in shambles. How on earth could RAVN, a small company with a handful of Beach 1900s and at the time (?) one or two ancient DHC-8s be able to pull off a new airline. Hint, they couldn't. Since then everything that NP has done has been pretty much a joke, why anyone went to work for them is absolutely a mystery. I think that this whole operation is a scam to this day.
ОтветитьSo jealous. the 757 is my favourite airliner. I last managed to catch one in 2006. Magnificent aircraft for an avgeek. The sounds are amazing and it climbs like a homesick angel too
ОтветитьExcellent video😊
ОтветитьCrossing the pacific In a pencil. Damn I have only done that on Icelandair across the atlantic...
ОтветитьI forgot the old 757 climbs like a spider monkey…
ОтветитьHave flown the 757-200 several times from Las Palmas to Tromsø.(LPA-TOS). It was Spanair who operated them. On the way down they always had a stopover in Madrid to change crew. Spanair is no more and today all this traffic is taken over by the a321.
Ответить68 people on board - no wonder it took off like space x
Ответить
