8 rounds of underpowered, 22 that you cant even aim, from a 2" barrel... I dont believe you should need a "reason" to buy any gun, if it makes you happy, go for it... but this one is absolutely useless.


As for a "back-up" gun... For less tha 13oz, you can can carry 8 rounds of .380, or for 18oz, you can get 13 rounds of 9mm is almost the same foot print.

I have the 22, 25, and a SS 32. Fun, easy to run. I use my 32 as a carry at times

I've always thought these looked like fun guns, but as a left-handed shooter these seem like just about every design choice makes it work poorly for me. I still think they're cool even if they're not great for me, though!

I have always considered the Bobcat and the Tomcat great little guns. I have both, and in all the years I have owned them (25 years) they have never had an issue. Great video as always!

Suppressors are NOT cheap!

People should be aware that Beretta released a lot of these with out-of-spec wood grips. With the grip being a mechanical component, their trigger mechanisms fail. I think they are still clearing inventory of these bad models -- it's been an ongoing problem for years. The wood grips look good from the outside but are designed poorly even when dimensions are within spec.

A threaded barrel only half makes it covert, the thing they missed is the ability to lock the slide to give you the option to make it a single shot break barrel. Then you could make it really quiet and practical for humane dispatch.

Nice review. I've owned several of these over the years. They are great little pocket guns . Perfect for plinking during walks in the woods. The flip up barrel is a great feature so that the gun can be carried/stored empty yet loaded quickly. My only gripe is that years ago (20 maybe?) There was a well documented rash of the black oxide models having stoppages. ( The blued ones ran fine. It was only the black oxide that had issues.) If I bought an older one, I'd want to test fire it first.

Can you take the end piece off the end of the barrel If your not using a suppressor?

These handle so much better with the magazine finger extension, as does the 3032. You can get a full hand on the grip barely sacrificing the CC advantage.

Anybody that thinks that you can't use a 22 long rifle pistol or revolver especially with the hot ammo they have today is sadly mistaken I beg to differ a few times in the vital areas what are some of the various ammo they have out today CCI stinger Remington thunderbolt Blazer Winchester Super x you're going to have a really bad day
