ОтветитьTo @usmcmustang2972: oh bullshit! Bill is an old friend, and he did a ton of research and prep for this trip -- I thought a bit more than necessary, TBH. He's got many miles of experience solo traveling in the desert, most recently El Camino del Diablo. (That's how he got to know Sarah in the first place.) It's beyond fortunate that he chose to do this trip.
To @neffola: Yeah, he's great company, especially on a road trip.
Amazon carry’s the swag.
ОтветитьGreat video. Bill is a badass adventurer.
ОтветитьHi tried to talk with you Sunday ?
ОтветитьMy dad had one of those valiants, but it was a station wagon with 245 hemi.
ОтветитьMassive long time fan from South Australia wishing you the very best Sarah...happy trails!
ОтветитьThat is a 1969 Dodge Coronet
ОтветитьGreat Video!
ОтветитьBusted in the bush? Musta hurt!😅
ОтветитьIn America that would have been a Plymouth satellite
ОтветитьLast shot, DEFINITELY do not want to hear 'uh-oh' there...
ОтветитьI asked my daddy what I should be when I grow up and he told me: Anything you want son, just don't be an asshole or don't get busted.
ОтветитьCall Trailmater 😂
ОтветитьOne hell of a wild ride not that I’d expect anything less from Wonder Hussy. It really is insane how big Australia is. Same size as the lower 48 but the population distribution really magnifies the scale of the place.
Side note my favorite description of Australia is that it’s one big Texas tucked away somewhere down there. Speaking of which those same rains that have left much of the Outback green literally got so bad that an area the size of Texas was underwater back in April. Would love to see channel county filled with water come to life and Lake Eyre potentially completely fill up.
Suppose it’s prolly more accurate to say Australia is like a funhouse mirror version of Canada with the vast majority of the population in a small strip on the fringe of its great wild interior. Damn interesting place tropical rainforests in the north, temperate rainforest in Tasmania, snow capped mountains in the winter in the temperate southeast. Insane wildlife from the cool to the killer and even the rare cool killers like crocs.
The Outback though that’s the definition of wild in every way shape and form.
Looks like broken wheel lugs to me. Lug Nuts came loose and the wheel broke off. You can't fix that without new lugs. You might be able to take one lug off each of the other wheels and install them so you have at least three in the wheel and limp to the destination.
ОтветитьDid Bill say he is from the USA ?
ОтветитьBill is so good , i 4 got about the fact that being 2 long stuck in the bush is bad 4 u.....
ОтветитьGreat video and fun to watch! What an adventure!💯
ОтветитьDam. Whole dam place is red. Lotta laterite. Fe ore everywhere.
ОтветитьYour comedic prowess and excitable sweetness are so refreshing and fun to behold - a joy to watch your skillful, creative videos - you're a wonder down under for sure! Kudos to Bill (I'm the same age) for his wanderlust and pursuit of adventure.
ОтветитьThank you! I realize you don't normally read your comments, but I'll say this anyway, in the off chance you happen to see it.
This is the reason I've subscribed to your channel and make an effort watch most of your videos. To be honest, you kind of lose me when you talk about your hair (head, arm pit, or otherwise...), similarly with your shopping sprees to Las Vegas, or the social struggles in your hometown. What I do care about are the explorations, seeing of new places, and your historical narrative of spots in the southwest desert (Or abroad. Your Columbia and Australian videos definitely set the hook). Not meaning to attack; meant as constructive criticism from someone wishing you success.
Can't wait for the next Australia installment.
love the video..the wilderness of the outback...how about that!!!!!!
ОтветитьDown Under travelling amongst the Strines. Hope she comes to New Zild. I love this flamin' Sheila.
ОтветитьBill's "Troopy" is badass! Also.. Bill is a fountain of wisdom.
ОтветитьDamn.... You are the coolest chick EVA !!! Y didn't I meet you ????
ОтветитьRomancing the Huss 😂
ОтветитьTom waits waltzing Matilda
ОтветитьVery cool chick i remember watching her and thinking i would like to bump into her down her in Australia next thing her she is i did miss out on meeting her she might have been wearing Dero repellant when she was here hence the reason I couldn't find her
ОтветитьWhat a great place my home is AUSTRALIA .1
ОтветитьIt's a valent aussie car
ОтветитьSo happy you breathe
ОтветитьThose flies are totally disgusting!! WTF!!
ОтветитьWith only 2 roads and a dirt track you can't get lost.........just stranded.
ОтветитьHuh, I knew about the petrol sniffing issues in aboriginal communities, but I didn't know about Opal Fuel (I just looked it up and read the Wikipedia article). Interesting. These videos are making me desperate to go on another road trip into the bush though.
Swags are available in various colours and designs! (Although khaki green is the most common colour). I have a "Mitchell" design swag, which I love because I can unzip and roll down the entire canvas cover and just sleep under the mosquito netting and look at the stars through it. The swag the swagman in Waltzing Matilda would have had would have just been a basic bedroll, nowhere near as cushy as a sturdy tent with a thick foam mattress like modern swags.
... got to the end. I assume Bill carries a PLB or a powerful radio with him? Would be foolish not to in an area like that.
Your driving on the wrong side of the road Wonder.
ОтветитьYour friend was upset because he had to change a tire? It's to be expected. Part of the adventure
ОтветитьEverything can kill you down there, croc’s snakes , spiders, great video , what a fun adventure 🤠🦅🇺🇸
ОтветитьOnly just discovered your channel, awesome, I love the way Americans present
ОтветитьBill is amazing!! I'm 68 and I'm way too old and broken down to even attempt a solo trip in America, let alone Australia!! No way would I even attempt it. But I have trouble walking, and I have an aneurysm on my aorta... there's just no way.
ОтветитьThe bivvy tent is too small for my liking, but some people won't use any other kind. Many American hikers use them, because they are lightweight.
ОтветитьWell yikes !!! Another tire. Bill is amazing. At 75 I'm worn out shopping at Penny's today.
ОтветитьI see you did a little walk-a-about in the outback.
ОтветитьChat GPT says The blue illuminated logo in the center, which looks like a paper airplane or triangle symbol, belongs to the Lucid Motors brand. This is a luxury electric vehicle manufacturer known for models like the Lucid Air. IYKYK
ОтветитьHow did you hack yhe swarm of bush flies 🙄⁉️😳
Ответитьto many bugs
ОтветитьWozzahuzza did you listen to the Midnight Oil song Gunbarrel Highway whilst on the Gunbarrel Highway?
