A setting like this, that's basically a character onto itself, could never really exist outside of the Star Wars universe. Gotta love the lore surrounding Fett's new digs.

Great work on this vid!

i think everyone that had taken over the palace realises that they dont need to worry about the monks as they freely let others use there building
everyone then just treats the monks as part of the building

Are the Bomar Monks also taken from the Dune series?

Funny, I recall an anthology collection of short stories in the EU/Legends era of books called "Tales from Jabba's Palace" or something similar, which gave a huge amount of backstory, all of which was vetted/approved by Lucas - he did exercise that level of control over the EU stories! IIRC that was published in the 90s, along with several other compilations - Tales from the Bounty Hunters, and others...

I think Jabba and others let the monks walk around so they could scare the hell out others not only seeing the free brains but maybe with implied threats that others that displeased them would end up like them. Basically walking reminders of their power.

At some point Jabba obtained his pet Rancor?

DUDE!!!!!! Jabba's pet Rancor is MOOCHIE!!!! They did an entire episode about him in the Bad Batch series. Everyone just seems to not put 2 and 2 together!!!! The Bad Batch series takes place shortly after Order 66 which we all know happens in Revenge of the Sith which is about 20 BBY. That series episode has the Bad Batch giving Moochie the "baby" Rancor to Bib Fortuna at the end of the episode. Fortuna has worked for Jabba for a long time thus Fortuna brought Moochie to Jabba and thus 20+ years later Luke kills Moochie in Return of the Jedi.

Why does it seem I am the only one that sees this? I have seen this lack on insight about Moochie on several videos.

I like how these channels keep insulting flat earthers while discussing totally fictional topics as if they're serious. Did we tarnish your dreams of becoming a jedi

There is one other aspect to the monks that didn't get much coverage...... They were not entirely..... Voluntary....
Many beings who overstay their welcome at the monastery just simply " disappear " and the monk's numbers increase accordingly. Zealot Murder bot brain jar spiders do what they do

I find it appropriate (and also pretty funny) that Jabba, being of a rather… corpulent build, would have a palace that centered around a “rotunda”. It seemed to make Bob Fortuna pack on some pounds, and I wonder if it’s new crime lord will get out of there before he becomes “Boba Fatt”.

Yeah the complete locations book is now wrong information / non canon. We found out in episode 3 that the Main throne room is directly below Boba's quarters where he houses the Bacta Tank. His quarters are looking out from the tower. We see guard fall down the small set of spiral stairs and ends up next to where Han was hanging in Carbonite in ROTJ which places the Throne room either near the top of the main tower or on ground level and Boba's quarters window looks out from the side, not deep underground which the book shows. Though I do wonder whether the Book of Boba Fett creators got this wrong, as you have to go down a set of steps to get to the Throne Room, not up.

The Star Wars galaxy is too small

It’s always tatooine, give us new planets for fuck said, the OT gave us 7, the prequels gave us 12 and the sequels gave us 6

Yes that is 25 but 25 out of a whole galaxy is tiny

Why does everything revolve around tatooine?

supposedly after his usurpation by Boba, Bib's body and brain were recovered by the monks and he was forcefully inducted into their order.

The throne room is deep underground yet the room with the bacta tanks is above ground with windows and good views and they are connected by a short stair well. lol. A marvel of engineering and movie continuity errors.

Well according to the map, Jabba's Palace is hella far from Mos Espa. In fact, just South of where Jabba's Palace is, over some rugged terrain of the Great Mesra Plateau would sit Bestine. Plus there are 2 smaller towns near Mos Espa, Mos Entha, and Mos Taike.

So in The Book of Boba Fett the throne room is no longer underground is now apparently at the top of the tall tower right under the balcony with the bacta tank
