I saw a really good deal on a Betterpress system but I need to know if it's worth buying, so of course I went straight to your video cuz I trust your review. Thank you for the detailed information, as usual, you have helped me decide. One question though: can you use the glimmer platform to betterpress since essentially you said the sandwiches are pretty much the same? I imagine the magnetic platform is better bec it will hold everything in its place, but if that isn't a big deal, can you betterpress with a glimmer system? Thank you in advance!😊

I wonder how the Ranger Distress watercolour black card-stock would work. It’s relatively soft so it would be a good candidate.

Excellent video...thank you! Still on the fence about this product though. Cost of decent cotton paper seems excessive... For the majority of us, this is just a hobby...not a business! Perfection is not a word in my vocab when making cards...it is after all "hand made"! So close enough works for me....

Jaycee, loved this video! I have had mine a few weeks and haven’t yet used it. I feel equipped to do so now that I have watched your video, these are all things I would have tried and possibly still might. I love the requests for more color ways to color the impressions. Until your video I had no idea that Altenew had produced BetterPress plates also. I love when companies work together to grow the crafting options rather than sue other companies that improve on their products…. Ultimately that only hurts the crafters. So proud of Altenew and Spellbinders for communicating and improving our experience. I am an avid crafter and purchase many, many products from both Altenew, Spellbinders and many others monthly. Also, I always thought Altenew had a whole collection of stamp sets that would be perfect for as ink blocks or letter press plates. It's so awesome to see that they are using the style from that collection & making them into press plates. This has been long-awaited for some of us!

You answered almost every question that I had, so now I'll know if it's just me when something doesn't work! 😂 Also, I appreciate how concise you were, in order to get as many questions answered as possible. No kidding, I've had a couple of weeks of jotting down questions while I was waiting for the system to release & for my craftroom to be ready for use. As I watched you, I was able to just scratch stuff off and take notes!! Incredible amount of info in a short amount of time!

Another fabulous video. I’ve just bought the better press system and I think I’ll invest those plates as opposed to the glimmer plates since both work. Also, yes! I love when the stamp companies work together. That’s always a win for us crafters.
