DIY No-Sew Window Seat Cushion

I needed this! Was looking for a no-sew idea (without zippers) so I could take it off easily and wash it--dogs! Thank you!

I'm gonna do this but use velcro tape ❤

I cut the foam into 24x24 sections and used cushion covers from Amazon. I can’t sew lol 😂

Awesome idea! I never thought of that & I have some double sided tape-on velcro strips that would work perfectly. Easy on/off for washings. Having pets & kids, it's must!

The way I see it is if something goes wrong with the fabric its very easy to create another

Don’t do it guys it won’t last. I even added glue gun and still didn’t last. Fortunately my local library has sewing machines

I love this! The only problem is that our window seat is 100”x200” and I’ve tried everywhere , doesn’t come in this size :( maybe there are some ideas ??

Love it. But why did you place 1 velcro strip the first time for the long end and for the short end two velcro strips?

Typically lazy…that tape won’t last and you didn’t even trim or mitre the corners do the finish will be very untidy

I think this is a great idea despite all the karens crying about not sewing it. If you sew it, you can't remove it unless you make one end open which may make it harder to remove. I have a dog and a bay window that he loves to sit in and watch everything going on outside. The wood is very cold and I've been trying to think of how to make a cushion without too much work involved. This idea is perfect and exactly what I need to insulate the cold piece of wood. And I love the idea of re-purposing old curtains. Too bad I gave all my old curtains away when I moved lol.

I did that two years ago, but the problem is that the kids sitting on it started pulling it apart. So, to solve that, I hand-stitched the fabric, and it came out really nice.

I will try this method but for pillows instead and using old umbrella fabric from umbrellas that broke, i will se how well that holds as well! 😊
