The costume and Wardrobe department captured the time period to a Tee
ОтветитьThe look on Joes face when Josephine brought home more children when he was building a tree house 🏘️ , he went from smiling to bitch you can't be serious in 2 seconds lmao 😂
ОтветитьYT people smh
ОтветитьThe end all ways make me tear up such a beautiful woman
ОтветитьLove this movie… but in the beginning they got a piece of history wrong.. when she was a little girl in 1917 and they were rioting.. it was actually in EAST St Louis. Not St Louis.. two different places. She’s from East St. Louis. The race riot happened there in East St Louis..
an UNFORTUNATE fun fact is that they don’t teach about the riot in school… this is something EVERYONE should know. Especially is St. Louis and East St. Louis.. I didn’t learn about it until I was in my late 20s and when I tell you the images brought me to tears!!!
I Remember seeing miss Lynn in This Movie as a Little girl And I Never understood what this movie meant until I got older. It’s amazing What Miss Baker went through to make our lives better… I Just wish they Would’ve Given Miss Diana Ross This Role Too or something of this nature considering how much she loved Miss Baker.
ОтветитьBeautiful movie Thanks for Posting 🙏
ОтветитьDid Lynn Whitfield sing in French & in Spanish for this movie ?
ОтветитьLynn Whitfield did a excellent job playing Josephine Baker she was possessed by her 👍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🌹🌹🌹
ОтветитьMs Baker was such a AMAZING woman I'm her showbiz life but as a AMAZING Mother.i wish I'd lived to had seen her.and Ms Lynn Whitfield was AMAZING Oscar worthy as Ms Baker
ОтветитьMagickal. Lynn is incredible. Even the stupid yellow bird in the middle didn’t worry me! They did Josephine proud❤️
ОтветитьI played the shit outta her wen we did skits on black history month
ОтветитьLike how the cheetah became a leopard... but the movie is good. I read her biography and the movie is actually good.
ОтветитьLove this film and Lynn Whitfield's performance!! Looks beautiful, grateful to you, Sir for putting it here for the world to know about this artist who gave SO much to others, and did it unselfishly ignoring her detriment.
ОтветитьOne of the best life stories, Well done Ms Lynn
ОтветитьThese men were pedos she was literally 13-14 years old
ОтветитьIt's a shame HBO/MAX doesn't have this film in its archives.
ОтветитьJosephine Baker broke that man down :(
ОтветитьThis was a 1990's production that speaks of woman who was struggling to be accepted during a time before civil rights as a black woman. That is the story. A human woman.
ОтветитьReligion is not the main focus of this post. It is African American history. A dramatic production. Of Josephine Baker who was a real person.
ОтветитьTo the one that posted the movie. Thanks. It seems like the original. Yet I am confused why you decided to give all the religion connections. In the more tab.
ОтветитьI hope you didn't get permission from certain people who are religious leaders to post that stuff. Meaning everything besides the movie.
ОтветитьTHANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS!!!!!!! I love Lynn Whitfield
ОтветитьWhat a wonderful movie and what an awesome piece of history. Most today don't know about his brave lady and the odds she overcame to do what she wanted to do.
ОтветитьThis was when biopic was good from start to finish and within two hours and ten minutes covers so much of her life. The ending was sad and that final performance was so good it brought tears to my eyes
Ответить❤❤❤
ОтветитьWOW, REST IN PEACE LA BAKER😍😍😍😍🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿❤❤❤❤👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 ..............
Ответитьjosephine and white and black

Bator nő
I simply only think or private me or one man not Y'ALL. THINK GOD
ОтветитьJosephine!
❤️❤️❤️
Power woman🙏🏾❤🖤❤🖤
ОтветитьGreat film and Lynn Whitfield was Oscar-worthy. Wondering about Josephine's ethnicity. She looked very East African/Ethiopian, but the movie depicts her mother as more West African/Nigerian. Did the movie miscast her mother, or did she get East African looks from her father?
ОтветитьThis will die and I'll be ordinary. Im try
ОтветитьLynn Whitfield bodied this shit! Her performance was equal to Denzel Washington when he played Malcolm X. You know biopics are good when you think your looking at the real person.
ОтветитьYes
ОтветитьThankyou xxx
ОтветитьI’m so happy this movie is in here lm so happy 😀 ❤
ОтветитьRIP Lou Gosset Jr. I love this movie!
ОтветитьLynn was well caste. She had perfect breasts and beautiful skin and a powerful presence when she performed.
ОтветитьRip Mr Louis gossett Jr 🙏🏿🙏🏿🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
ОтветитьBrilliant film Lyn is phenomenal. Definitely not given the recognition she deserves and this film definitely should have received rewards. At the time this was made you can see things hadn’t changed that much compared to Mrs Georgina Baker’s era.
ОтветитьTHE SONG AT THE END GAVE ME GOOSE BUMPS X
ОтветитьYes I to agree Super ⭐✨ Diana Ross would have took this movie to new heights ❤❤❤as she always excellent in her performances and many many major accomplishments 😊😊👄💋💋💕 but on the other hand Lynn Who😢
ОтветитьLynn Whitfield is stunning gorgeous. No artist in the world could draw breasts any more perfect.
ОтветитьThis movie was so good, from start to finish. Lynn Whitfield is excellent!👍
ОтветитьGrace Kelly Walked Out Of That Restaurant After They Refused To Serve Josephine. Why Did This Movie LEAVE THAT PART OUT?????
ОтветитьI remember seeing this TV movie. My parents recorded it on VHS. This film is magnificent, I still get chills from it. I love the photography and music in this TV movie.
