The steering wheel is not installed correctly! It is installed upside down!
Headrests are turned the wrong way! Whoever restored this car, had no idea about RR’s!😕

⁠you are incorrect! All 1972 RR’s (US imports) had headrests installed on the front seats, as was required by US regulators.
It was not a later retrofit!
I do agree with you though, that the standing height of the car is slightly too high, both front and rear. I have a lot of brochures of the early Shadows, and the rear standing height was actually quite low. They didn’t really fix this problem entirely until the series 2 cars came along in 1977.

axeljacobs ----- You are correct, headrests wrong way, steering wheel upside-down. I know because I own a 1970 series one. Although the series 2 is an improvement the series one commands a higher price because of chrome fenders and the front of the car is more attractive. There are 2 vents/air-intakes below the twin headlamps. Useless piece of information the upper part of the grill where the mascot sits, is an elongated triangle. That design was inspired from Buckingham palace. Where the royal family stand on a balcony waving to the crowds, above them are the elongated triangles in or on the architecture of the palace.

Runs nice, especially considering that it's been decommissioned :)
