Next step for Tesla is to get their own LFP battery lines running and expand their Lithium refinery to a minimum 60GW production.
All this because I think the EU will impose even stricter tariffs on Chinese cars and batteries as VW collapses. Therefore Tesla will need to ship LFP batteries to the EU in quantity. They may not be able to get enough from South Korea (due to Hyundai/KIA competition) or EVE in Malaysia to also run their German factory. They may also need to ship LFP from the US into Germany.

Needs to be $5k cheaper if they are getting rid of the indicator stalks .

Also RWD LR needs to be a thing

I actually prefer the older interior of the model 3 to the new one. I'm glad I already bought a model Y before they changed the dash and doors. The new one is probably too stark for even my minimalist tastes. Keep going down this design philosophy and they will end up with a single flat piece of metal like the dashboards in very old pickup trucks.
I have no want for an LED light strip either...
Saw this same dumb design on RV cooktops where they backlight the knobs with bright blue LEDs. Useless flippery that is not needed because you don't cook in the dark. Just more to break.

Hi Sam, great insights as always. Here in the UK we can buy a 436 mile range model 3 for £45,000 including taxes. Obviously a great car.

If tesla delays MY Juniper to May or June, I will be buying Xpeng, Zeekr, BYD or another brand. I, like thousands of people, have been waiting patiently, but not for much longer!

I hope they DE-tire the new MYP. I replaced the 21” UTs from my 2022 MYP and it created a much better street car. Faster, more efficient, better riding, no fear of pot holes/curbs, can rotate them and cheaper to replace. If nothing else hopefully the 18s I bought from TSportLine will fit the new Model Y.

Tesla badly needs to step up their car designing. It's subpar to begin with, and now it's very dated. The changes do very little to improve their mediocre aesthetics. They make great cars, but so does Xpeng, Chery, BYD, and Geely which all look better.

The West doesn't have any affordable and reliable EV. Only expensive old tech EV.Tesla is no longer competitive. Elon should stick with Starlink project and say good bye to EV.
