Fix your title, shortening MECH isn’t doing you any favors.
ОтветитьStopped watching after one minute when he said that's racing about 2021, that was blatant cheating and manipulation not racing. Can't take anyone seriously who tries to pass that off as racing, it's the opposite of racing.
ОтветитьAmazing Podcast, really interesting.I've just pre ordered the book.looking forward to the read.
ОтветитьA nice inside view of a F1 mechanic. He is very honest
ОтветитьFantastic choice for a post F1 season guest. Calum is a class act and to hear his story is so inspiring. Thank you.
ОтветитьI fail to see what his skin colour has to do with him being in the pitlane. Considering the percentage of black people in the UK and how many if them choose to follow the same career path, it sounds about what you would expect. You could just as well figure out how many redheads are in the pitlane.
ОтветитьWhat a great story, and seems like a lovely guy too. A credit to Red Bull and F1.
ОтветитьNot a great Interviewer. He jumped from topic to topic and not listening to his guest to continue the conversation.
ОтветитьGreat interview, Callum has the same mindset as Lewis, work hard and push yourself forward. I find it very interesting that he mentions STEM, this is what Lewis has put his efforts into getting students involved with, Mission 44. The British government needs to step up!
Ответитьthx for sharing your story
ОтветитьGreat to see an interview with Calum!!! He is always so passionate and looks to have a great relationship with Max!! All the best to Calum!!!
Ответитьbest interview in a podcast EVER! and I haven't started to listen to it as I write the comment! but just having the idea to interview him is GENIUS!
ОтветитьWonderful interview! Callum is a fantastic rolemodel!
ОтветитьHe really reminds me of an actor in the Avatar movies just like Jake with his hair and length.
ОтветитьNot sure if he was at Hungary when Max's car got fixed on the grid, but that is the best example of a calm chaos by Redbull, Would love to know that story.
ОтветитьI dont know who Ben is, but as a F1 fan, love this video.
ОтветитьI wondered what happened to the BLACK GUY from Redbull
ОтветитьI wondered what happened to the BLACK GUY from Redbull
ОтветитьThis guy is a red bull hero! Watch him... unbelievable carrière...
ОтветитьCalumet may not leave as long as Max is driving.... Sorry, just my opinion..
ОтветитьWhen i think of a team work: max wrecks his front left on opening lap. And then rb decides to repair the car on track. Having only 12 minutes or so to repair the car. Do that and see max win.. i would be proud of me. Insane work...
ОтветитьI always see you in tv and wondered what your story was. Proud of you brotha. It's important for us to see those that look like us and its important for the world. We have contributed to this world majorly since the dawnof civilization, and they try to hide and revise history to diminish our greatness. 🫡 From the U.S
ОтветитьThroughout one hour and nine minutes, this gentleman NEVER mentioned Sir Lewis Hamilton. Mr. Nicholas; we all "walk in the shows of those who paved the way." For shame you never mentioned Lewis and the early struggles he and his dad (and entire family) had to go through. So unprofessional and crude. Hope his achievements are in your book . . . I don't care if he is part of the crew, mechanic, driver, whatever.
Ответитьenjoyed this podcast but the sound was very over processed. maybe turn the slider down a bit? keep up the good work
ОтветитьGreat interview. Calum is really articulate and I hope his book sells well. I’ll certainly buy a copy.
ОтветитьLiterally just per ordered Callum book today and now come across this pod
Ответитьpreordered the book right now - excited to see what it's like. Thanks for opening the world of the pit to us bystanders and watchers
ОтветитьToo bad he brought up D€I, that stuff is not flying anymore (that will hurt his sales as well). Getting somewhere on merit is the only route forward, trying to ride some ideology, works counterproductive. Used to like him.
ОтветитьGreat interview!
ОтветитьThis is a great story. I love listening to stories like this. The lad worked for what he wanted. Top Lad! 👍👍
ОтветитьHow can he say that Abu Dhabi 2021 was just racing, when serious rules were broken within the sport!!! Not so sure on him.
ОтветитьLoved it, thanks for the insight Calum.
ОтветитьI spent just over 23 years in the sport, started at Willys (testing then raceteam)… went to RB for 5 years on raceteam then finished my days off at the FIA.
We the people that do this job is our choice, we spend so much time away from family, friends etc but there’s always FaceTime!!
It’s hard or it can be if you make it, I’ve seen grown men in tears when we used to go away for winter testing for 7 weeks (inc car launch & sponsors videos) when they speak to there kids they burst into tears… it’s hard for them.
Personally having no kids was a bonus, missed my golden retriever the most, glad I’m done it, miss the driving part to be honest which was our chill time in the trucks. I’m proud of what I’ve done & achieved no matter what people say.
Gave up halfway through. Calum excellent, when he got a word in.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this great interview !! I loved it.
I wish you all a happy and healthy new year and I hope that Callum stays with Redbull for a few years more.🙏🏼🙏🏼
Greetings from Linda from the Netherlands.
A’m a great F1 fan , and especially a fan of Max.❤
Buying that book.
ОтветитьCool Dude Calum like the guy and very interesting to hear what he has to say and very good questions!
ОтветитьGoofball
ОтветитьSmashing these out benny boy!! Great job!!
ОтветитьOh god I am so tired of the race race race talk. Jeez
ОтветитьWhat an interesting, smart and nice character Calum is. Thanks for this one👍
ОтветитьThis was fantastic. Thank you both and to your teams. Really interesting.
ОтветитьRegardless of the pitstop record going to McLaren, Redbull Pitstops are consistently quick.
ОтветитьGreat interview Calum. Very proud of you
ОтветитьGreat show @roadtosuccessofficialpodcast and Callum. I've found a new podcast to watch
ОтветитьHow this guy has less subs than “Pitstop” is truly mind boggling. He asks way better questions and doesn’t interrupt with nonsense!!! 😅
