This is my first new video for a while. Still rather busy with my life, but I took time away to record this. Both of the clips you are seeing here are blind playthroughs of some levels I forgot that I had on my computer for a while.
Both Hunter and SCORPION made levels for the Seventh Annual Vanilla Level Design Contest. Many of the levels that were submitted for the contest will be a part of a compilation. Not sure if these two are used, but I hope they will be.
Devious Devices:
This was Hunter's level for the contest, and actually the easier of the two. The whole level is built around the on-off switches, and line-guided paths that change depending on whether the switch is on or off. There are some jumps you need to be careful of, but other than that, you shouldn't have much problem beating the level.
Volcanic Boilers:
SCORPION's entry into the contest was rather shocking. I was expecting something a bit different from what you see in the Devious Four Chronicles, but instead we got a level that could've been a base for a Devious Four member. The music also reminded me of the series, as it was used in some of their older hacks. So yeah, this was my favorite of the two.
I will probably go back to recording new videos for the three hacking projects I've been focusing on; Twilight Gem, Brutal Mario and TSRPR as soon as I'm able to focus more on it.
