ОтветитьI love your voice and energy, when you hit the table like a wwf referee, I knew it was over for the catfish 😂❤️
ОтветитьGreat video!!!!!
From a fellow Nola native, Just follow the concept & always season to taste usually more lol. Same thing go for my boy in Lafayette the Cajun ninja !
Pro tip let the fish sit in the fridge with the holy trinity too then remove heavy excess.
I love bro hat that jawn 🔥
ОтветитьCanola oil is inflammatory not good for you
ОтветитьI'm gonna make this tomorrow night. Looks so good!
ОтветитьCharlie is been a minute this year I have not contacted you but I've been very busy but this catfish recipe in the Boom, if I wasn't a Preacher you'd make me cuss!🙏
ОтветитьAs with raw poultry and meat, avoid washing raw fish in order to reduce the risk of spreading bacteria all around your kitchen. Instead, buy fish that's been gutted and scaled from a reputable fishmonger. Wash your hands well and clean surfaces in your kitchen work areas as thoroughly as possible
ОтветитьLove it! thanks for sharing
ОтветитьGreat job! I needed a great recipe to make for catfish fillet. I will definitely try your recipe. Thank you
ОтветитьSuch a simple but great recipe. Loved it. Thank you.
ОтветитьLooks delicious! Yum! 😊
ОтветитьCanola oil is not good for our health, butter is better (Microwaving not healthy either)
Thank you
Thanks for the recipe !

ОтветитьDo I do it the same way for redfish?
Ответитьbecause of charlies videos, I just bought chef paul's gift set of 9 seasoning with the book i cant wait for them to come in the mail :)

ОтветитьEXCELLENT VIDEO...
Thank you so much for sharing this great video...
Can i do this without the redfish magic?
ОтветитьCatfish my favorite dish
ОтветитьTurning the ventilation on was good advice because it smokes up real quick! My fish came out perfect, thanks!
ОтветитьI love love love eating this fish, every time I go to seafood restaurant I will order it. bone fish grill restaurant where I use to go has it.and I don't know if Red Lobters has it. but I always wanted to know how to make it. and I saw you. 😊
ОтветитьI don't have cooking oil right now so I will bake it.
ОтветитьI take that last comment back. I can make this. ❤and I'm going to make potato salad also. 😊
ОтветитьDude, you are definitely not a Cajun, I doubt even from Louisiana. You’re just showing a recipe you found on the internet. And it’s not how real Cajuns do it. I’m tired of people using Louisiana and the Cajun name for there benefit when they are neither.
ОтветитьOk, I'm going catfishing soon.... I loves Blacken Fish.... Catfish will just taste better.
ОтветитьSimply explained and Easy to follow
ОтветитьHey Charlie when you mention the cast iron skillet being season what seasoning what I put in there to do my catfish
ОтветитьThanks Charlie you are absolutely the greatest man I love you thank you so much
ОтветитьAnd I must say, I Love the way You give Your Viewers a Quick Response, those other Cooks don't do that, Man You are the GOAT!!!
ОтветитьStil watching in 2023!!
ОтветитьCanola oil creates inflation in your arteries, which leads first to the formation of placque in the arteries and then stiffness of your arterial system. Lastly it leads to heart attack and stroke. Just saying for those of you who care.
Any monounsaturated oil like extra-virgin olive oil or avocado oil will prevent that inflammation from occurring in your arteries. Even real butter is healthier for you than any and all seed oils.
Charlie I'm back again. I was looking for directions on blackened catfish.I always come to your channel first before I search anywhere else because your recipes never steer me wrong. Thanks again Charlie!
ОтветитьMan that cast iron skillet was beautiful!!! Ijs
ОтветитьExcellent recipe. I used to watch your videos all the time and this one is great as always. For those not near a source of good fish such as those not on the coast like me and Charlie, watch where your “catfish” comes from. Make sure you get good fresh fish and not mystery farm fish.
ОтветитьCharlie that looks so good
ОтветитьI have small Coleman gas campstove top out in garage for just such an occasion!❤
ОтветитьMistake on recipe video. Use 1 1/2 pounds 4 catfish fillets altogether. You can increase to 2 pounds which will increase the number of catfish fillets by 2 if you want to serve more people. Sorry for the confusion.
