As Steve Jobs once said about the iPad 2, “We spent so long designing this beautiful thing why cover it up. So they created the Smart Cover: just enough protection to say, “Look, it’s dressed up,” but not enough to save it if it takes a dive off the table.

Basically, it’s like Apple saying, “We know you’ll drop it, but hey, at least it’ll look good on the way down!” Until they make a design so delicate it practically shatters on eye contact, we’re just sticking with these classy covers and calling it a day! 😂

Not much good if you drop it on a gravel parking lot.😮 (though it does look pretty awesome.)😊

1. Whenever I’ve dropped my phone it’s been on a flat surface which would damage the phone with this case on
2. It’s up to $300 for 2 pieces of plastic, you could get a much better phone case for less than half of that
3. Just looks ugly imo

How many times does a real person drop the iPhone on a completely flat surface, almost never… you need the sides protected for the average person unless you only are a college professor that never goes anywhere except school and home…

And then.. your phone lands on gravel and you're screwed.

It's very expensive and it doesn't work because it damages the screen protector.
