I believe it's nice to see what people think, especially for someone like me on the other side of the world. The reaction content depends on the person that react, so it's different from creator to another. The way Asmongold do it is neat, like offer his ideas, opinions, criticism maybe, and of course throughout the reaction, people get introduced to a new content creator that they may like his or her content. Asmon is great because even if he likes your video or not, he still puts a link to the channel on his YT Vids and lets you make your own decision. Legendary Drops I have followed well before he blew up, mainly because of the early BG3 community. love his take on thingss as they are well thought out and spoken. Act Man.... can't stand him and no one will change my mind on that but I also don't dump on him either, it is what it is.

I don't mind reaction content so long as it's actual reaction with thought behind it. The ones that just sit there repeating "Mmhmm" or "Oh wow" can pound sand, they are just farming time to monetize a vid. People like Asmon can take a 10 minute video and turn it into an hour long rant that most of the time gets a few great laughs out of me. Or he is promoting others he feels deserve it, which I respect.

Don't underestimate yourself. Asmon reaction content is relatively good, but I often skip-through his videos. But if the content he reacts to is really really good, I skip his reaction video and jump to the original source, like I did for your channel. But if the content is not good, I will watch his video and forget about it aftewards.

I think its somewhat similar to a smaller band opening for a huge act. You might not love Coldplay, but if they ask your garage band to open a show for them it could be your biggest break.

As usual I enjoy the nuance you bring to the table. Reaction videos can be 50/50 but when done right seem to benefit everyone. Also you kinda reacted to asmon reacting to you which is kinda funny, just throwing that out there.

Absolutely!! Agreed entirely. Found your channel because of Asmon. Also found Darth, and a few others as well. It's really amazing how much influence people like Asmon have on small channels. The entire point of social media is SOCIALIZING - sharing content and talking about said content; react content is exactly that and every channel of all sizes can partake. I think some of the foundational problems people (actually) have with react content is that creators don't really have to cite their sources and some take advantage of that - like SniperWolf, etc. Surely, there's something that can be done better by YT's part to make everyone happy, like having to tag/cite video sources used over a certain time amount "10 seconds" (just an example), but taking away/discouraging react/sharing content would implode a huge portion of this ecosystem. Great video as usual! Cheers

Completely agree - Asmon has good react content. I don't always agree with his takes but I often see where he's coming from. I'm glad I found you through Asmon as your opinions are even more solid.
