The bearings works like skate trainers

Likely why they're so sticky is that they look like they're sealed bearings not shielded. These are likely best for high load applications not for speed. The seal keeps grease packed inside the bearing to reduce wear over a very long lifetime. I was super interested to know how sealed bearings work in a skateboard and I guess y'all figured that out haha. Thansk for the vid! <3

They may say they're skateboarding bearing, but they probably aren't actually skateboard bearings (shocker). They seem more like the bearings in tools and such.

The outer diameter varies by a hundredth of an inch from bearing to bearing, which is why they don't fit wheels well

While on the topic of bad bearings yesterday I went into my local skate shop to get a new pair of bearing because mine weren’t spinning and when I went to take a wheel off it wouldn’t come off so what we did was physically remove the wheel from the bearing to find out that the bearing had melted into my truck we then proceeded to cut off the bearing and remove it with a pair of pliers

I have an old world industries skateboard from 1999 and it’s bearing are better than this. (I also bought it used)

i know this video is old but i just got an idea, you should make a worst board ever challenge where you buy a walmart board, take the wheels from it, put these lowest rated amazon bearings in them, and then grab a deck that was soaked in nail polish remover, and then skate it ( also put rubber grip tape ).

Back in the 90s people used to buy boards from a shop called Argos thst sells cheap tacky stuff, they were called PH Hudson, the bearings were called 608Z and those bearings were so bad that if you was to drop in on that mini ramp you wouldn't make it up the other side.
