Hi Andy, the Gleam giveaway page returns this error: Sorry, you're creating too many entries; try again later.
Any ideas?
Hmm, my S21's are currently earning roughly $15/day, and after the halving that will be $7.5/day. Your hosting is costing you $6.60/day, so net earnings should be $0.90/day or approx $27.75/month. Naturally, im not forecasting any change in BTC price, so if you are a "bull" then this will be low.
ОтветитьOk so I love this video and thanks for it. What I will say is that I gave Musk Miners a shout, took them three days to get back to me and their miners are a grand more than anyone else's. They charge this much as on their site it says they will only host machines bought from them. So on top of their monthly maintenance fee, which we all know these machines are set and forget, you also overpay about $1000 for an S21 and wait a month to have it bought online. With all that said, I bought a miner somewhere else, it was $1000 cheaper than Musk and it arrives today and will be online tomorrow. Less that a week from order date with no monthly "maintenance fee". What if there is a problem? they took three days to get back to a customer wanting to host some S21's, if that is how they operate for new customers, how are they when you are already a customer and you are locked into them????? Food for thought. I decided against going with Musk after the long wait for a return call and the month they seem to take to bring machines online. Not hating on them, never used them but they have hidden fees in the miner uplift, they are not responsive to new business requests and I wont pay a BS maintenance fee to leave a machine sitting in a rack that requires zero maintenance. I think Musk are too greedy.
ОтветитьHey Andy I’d love to hear your thoughts on the goldshell ka box, I was really tempted to get a ks3 back in November but there too noisy I just didn’t have the space Happy with my kaspa bag and I think it would possibly be a good intro into mining. Because come the next bear market I’m gonna be all over it and hopefully I can pay for some proper space for it.
Would love to hear your thoughts. Keep rocking Andy 😎
im trying to get me one, this is CRAZY!!!!
Ответитьan S21 miner would sure spank my Nerd Miner V2. Hope I win. Thanks for doing the giveaway
ОтветитьHey Andy, Do you have a spreadsheet to keep track of the Crypto you can share? Thanks
ОтветитьSo would it make sense to wait for the bitcoin halving for miners to get cheaper?
ОтветитьPlease let me have one machine pleasee pleasee 😭
ОтветитьGreat video and perspective Andy well said my friend! Let’s go BTC !!
ОтветитьOMG what a total waste of electricity.
You could of bought bitcoin once upon a time for a dollar a bitcoin.
People are idiots to think if mining is dead, they're wrong, mining works. Regardless. GPU, BTC, CPU mining, you sir, will be a millionaire if you keep this going!! The highest bitcoin bitcoin price ever, mining is STRONG and competitive.
ОтветитьI have joined you in the PetaHash Club recently with my own addition of a new S21 200th to my set, from Musk Miners. The calming whurrr of those fans running in the back of the warehouse will be with me forever.
Ответитьwhen you host with musk miners do you have to setup the miner yourself in a pool?
ОтветитьI am new to this. What is the logic behind the halving?
ОтветитьI just purchased a few of these. Just getting into the game. Curious, what mining pool do you suggest for mining BTC?
ОтветитьSo if I buy half of that I can make half of that and live happily ever after?????
ОтветитьCan you make an update after the halving
ОтветитьSo.. could i borrow a coin or two to start up and pay you back? 😂
ОтветитьSeems pretty trash... don't even pay themselves off in a year... maintenace and the fact bitcoin could tank makes it such a risky investment, better to just day trade crypto/stocks.
ОтветитьHi my name is Daniel, please share with me your email
Ответитьhey @yourfriendandy please send me one of those s21's k thanks!
ОтветитьAm thinking of getting into bitcoin mining myself, with that machine you're going to give away for free I hope it finds it's way into my garage lab.......
ОтветитьSo he doesn’t take out the price of the machines out of his overhead?
ОтветитьWhy didn’t I see any hard stats like in a table or pie chart???
Hardware costs, utility costs, average hash rate. Wtf
Sounds like you woulda been better off just buying bitcoin
ОтветитьI will love to star earning.
ОтветитьYou give me
I will pay every half n year
but
I am from india
Come here
Install setup
Hi! Just an idea. How about investing in a solar system to cut the cost of electricity 🙂
ОтветитьHave you considered investing in solar power to save costs, and thus increase income.
Ответитьᴠᴀ̀ᴏ ᴋᴇ̂ɴʜ ᴍɪ̀ɴʜ ᴄᴏ́ ʜᴜ̛ᴏ̛́ɴɢ ᴅᴀ̂̃ɴ ᴄʀᴀᴄᴋ ɴᴇ̀ ᴄᴀ̉ ɴʜᴀ̀
ОтветитьWhy have such a variety of miners?
ОтветитьGreat
ОтветитьHow can a person walking mine bitcoin?
Ответить2 plastic hollow balls with a magnet 🧲 in each that makes a micro fraction of gpu needed to ming bitcoin. How do electro magnets clincking each other around your shoes all day mine bitcoin?
ОтветитьIt's a ridiculous theory
ОтветитьWill this work using solar panels?
ОтветитьSo four months ago, (today is 7/24/24 BTC is at $66,081 and difficulty is at 82.05 T), 0.009 with 200 tH/s. After the halving event in April, I assume 0.00045 per 200 tH/s, (not accounting for added difficulty)? That means $514 mined per month per machine, (half of your $628 and adding back in the $200 hosting fees you are paying) at a $70k BTC price. My power averages 0.16 per kilowatt so I assume approximately $403 per month for electricity per machine. Hosting looks pretty good at the prices you are stating. I do not see those prices anywhere in the Denver area. This is a tough time to get into mining. I may leap into it, fearfully, on the hopes that the increase in price, and fees, will eventually pay off. Oh yeah, I can't even deduct any of this as a hobby since I won't pass audits as a business for the IRS. I believe I can handle two of these realistically with the power, noise, and cooling requirements.
I would probably buy two S19K at 120 tH/s for a total of 240 for $616 per month in BTC with an electric bill of $800 per month for 0.00054 per day or 0.1971 BTC in a year, (still not accounting for difficulty). If it hits 100k in a year, I would/will have approximately $19,720 in mined BTC value with a total investment of approx $12,672 for miners, cooling, and electricity. At a federal income tax bracket of 22%, I will have to pay $4,338 in income tax for the gains on this mining operation. This will be entirely out of pocket until I can qualify as a business for the IRS. Unfortunately I already get the standard deduction from my regular business, so there isn't much hope for deductions at these levels, unless I start a huge mining farm. I hope you're right about the price and fees going up. I may take a gamble on these assumptions! Spending $20k to clear $3,k is a tough pill to swallow, though. This would only work if I hold forever and the price shoots to the moon. At $70,000 I break even, (oh but wait, we still aren't factoring in difficulty). It's a hell of a gamble.
If I buy two S21 miners from Altair, ($3,239 each), converted for single phase and clock them down to 3,000 watts to run on a single 30 amp breaker, this should yield approx 288 tH/s, (based on VoskCoin yields at 3700 watts fromhis new S21s assuming they don't break down) or 0.000648 per day, (based on daily yields from this video), for two miners. This would fill the C2 tank but I could get a second tank and run four miners for a total of 12,000 watts, (the max for the C2 dry cooler), even though the rep at Fog Hashing says I cannot fun two C2 tanks into one C2 dry cooler. This would yield 0.001296 mined per day or $90.72, ($2,721.60 per month) with BTC at $70k. This would be an initial investment of approx $16,466, (4 S21s $3,239 each, Fog Hashing C2 $1580, an extra tank $630 and shipping $500, 4 jugs of BitCool $800), and electricity would be approx $1,382 per month if I can get away with this much additional heat through my electrical panel. Not accounting for difficulty, in 365 days, this would be 0.47304 BTC mined. At a price of $100,000, this would be a value of $47,304. With $33,050 for initial cost and electricity for a year, and $10,430.20 in income tax, (not accounting for daily cost basis fluctuations), this would be a net of $3,932.00, (still not accounting for difficulty). It would appear I would still come out better to take the initial $16,466 and just buy Bitcoin and keep pumping the $1,382 per month in electricity straight into buying BTC directly instead, although, at this point, you could make a case that I would qualify as a business and deduct the entire initial purchase and electricity. This would definitely be an issue if I claim a loss multiple years in a row, which will almost certainly be the case with the equipment constantly needing replaced at least every other year, if not every single year going forward.
This is quickly becoming a business that is only profitable if you build a social media following with it...unless BTC goes to 200k in two years. Then I will kick myself for not getting into mining.
This has been a wonderful exercise for me. Thank you tremendously for sharing @YourFriendAndy.
Can I do the hosting even if I'm not in America...from a distant country
ОтветитьAll the haters need to mined their own business.
ОтветитьGot any ideas how i should start up my mining..what cheapest money wise machine to get started? Please help lol..im a newbie
ОтветитьWait a minute, you started 2 years ago when one Bitcoin was roughly $20K. If you you would have bought bitcoin then for $190K (what you spent) you would have got 9.55 BTC worth $573K today tripling your investment without having to buy any machines or any other expenses. I understand the fun of mining but does not sound like a valuable proposition since after 2 years you broke even or am I missing something.
ОтветитьSO.....bottom line is 2 years of work, you made $30K before the new machines.
Ummmmm that is NOT a good business model, considering replacement and obsolesce of the hardware.
Mee mee
ОтветитьWell I'm older but definetly trying to get into this stuff for a passive income which would be good
Ответитьwhen u get 11,000 a month, can u gift me small monet :( for my live
ОтветитьI want to invest $70,000 in mining, please calculate how much I can earn per month, this is very important
