No. The Citroën Berlingo EV is better, that comes with the toyota badge.
Toyota phoned in this BZ up and has been a poor choice, it's inefficient and deliberate built in limited quantities. It's a symbol of Toyota's demise by spending iver a decade dismissing batteries in favour of hydrogen
Perhaps you could also mention when reviewing your next car if wireless Android Auto is available, rather than assuming that all your viewers use overpriced apple phones. Thank you.
ОтветитьNO LEATHER SEATS.... 👎 ALL EVS IN THAT PRICE RANGE COME WITH LEATHER SEATS... ANY WORD AN THE BYD SEAL TEST DRIVE... I'M GOING TO GET ONE AS TAXI.. SELLING MY KIA NERO KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK 👍
ОтветитьVery good review but missed the fact that there is no frunk and console has bad sunglare but you may not get that in Ireland😂
ОтветитьTerrible name for a car. The steering wheel and instrument cluster looks poxy. Far too dark inside for a €50k plus car. Toyotas are far too expensive as far as I’m concerned.
ОтветитьStrange name for a car. I prefer TSLA for authentic EV car and the performance.
ОтветитьThe thing is, Toyota are making it better for second hand users with the whole buffer thing. So the people that are buying it from new are getting worse mileage so that the next guy can be happy? Doesn't work out
ОтветитьI notice a lot of the reviews of this car are negative but when you look at the comments below of people who actually own one they love them!
ОтветитьWhy you guys complain to much about the name bz4x is nice name complain everything for no reason
Ответить😅😅😂
ОтветитьI really like my Bz4x the design . Looks futuristic . The interior isnt glam but is extremely comfortable and range is more then enough . I get roughly 320kms in winter with heater turned on. With heater off it shows 399 kms . Im guessing in summer i will get 410 to 420 kms
ОтветитьI bet battery's degradation is much less of an issue over the years than comparing with other manufacturers
ОтветитьThese will make fantastic used 2nd hand cars. They’ll be as perfect as when they rolled out of the factory at 5 years old - and hopefully cost a lot less 2nd hand. I bought a 5 year old Toyota Prius Tspirit 10 years ago and it’s still running on its original traction battery, and HSD drivetrain - and it’s a daily commuter. Buy one of these used and it will probably outlive you! I’d trust this better than a Tesla Model Y. It’ll also be infinitely more reliable. The dash just screams futuristic 23rd century. Loving it!
ОтветитьI have a 2023 Solterra. I love it. (Same as bz4x awd). I am getting 400km range to a charge. It’s extremely safe in heavy winter driving and capable of long road trips through Canada in the winter. Awesome vehicle.
ОтветитьVery good presentation. Since october, I have a bZ4X and all is ok by the moment. Is a Toyota in short words, but the the rear and front cameras (very bad camera resolutions) are a disaster, their use for parking don't help to facilitate the maneuvers. Toyota don`t dedicate the appropiate care to develop the cockpit onboard software.
ОтветитьYou're not wrong about that steering wheel!
Ответить"A face only a mother could love" - that made my day 😅
ОтветитьProblem is....the red is almost an extra £1000 as its classed as "premium" paint in the car builder on the Toyota website.
As for the name, they should have just called it the E4x for Electric Series 4 Crossover. That would have made more sense...the "Beyond Zero" thing is pointless.
Toyota E4x is much easier to remember and rolls off the tongue.
Depending on one's situation, the bZ4x is appropriate. We leased a 2023 Toyota bZ4x for my daughter. She travels round trip 15 miles to & from school. It's perfect for people who commute short distances & can plug it in overnight. The level 1 charger is charging 4.42 miles/hour at our house. So 3 hours of charging refills the batteries.
ОтветитьI ordered Bz4x this month. About that steering wheel position: I have long legs and kinda short hands. I test drive this car and I tell you, its first car in my 27y of driving, where finally I feel comfortable! Perfect wheel position, sitting on my lap. Im not petrol head who thinks that every car is racing car and keep steering wheel up high, just to get more control. I like comfort where my hands not tired there up high. Its relaxing family car where you chat with ur kids back there and enjoy comfort.
About attention sensor: I just watched test drive video, and guy on high speed on motorway got that tunnel vision into settings of infotainment system. Sensor beeps and he realises that lost track of where he's is. So it helped. It helps do not text on phone, to watch road. Why not? We always got those moments when we get involved in that "I just click couple buttons there fast" and end up eyes out of road 3-5 or more sec. I dont like speeding tickets (auto speed limiter watching it for me) I dont like pay insurance excess, beep-boop sensors everywhere keep money in my pocket and stress away. Instead I like safety and comfort... this is safe family car, I love it.
❤❤
ОтветитьSo I've to pick ID.5 Pro Plus with good spec options or the Part No. here with limited options, which is the better choice?
Ответитьi like all the info you delivered ...as a VW fan boy....this has my interest.....still waiting for ANY VW EV in OZ ....so VW might lose outnin my purchaseb 😢😢😢
Ответить,the one I test drove did have a sensor above the wheel that would go off if I put my hand at 12 o'clock which was rather annoying. Maybe you have a different version?
ОтветитьI picked up my bz4x in late January 2024. Had for about 7 weeks now. I can’t understand all of the negative press it’s had in these reviews. Maybe my expectations are lower, but I can’t fault it. My bz4x has replaced a new shape Yaris hybrid which I used to spend about 60.00 pounds sterling per month on petrol and got about 62 miles per gallon. So far I’ve travelled a total of 785 miles in the bz4x, and I’ve only spent 26.00 pounds sterling on charging it! Enough said!
ОтветитьIt's a great car for people like me who lives in California. For the value, I expected at least sunglass holder, my only gripe. I like it better than my 23 Tesla Model 3, it is a much better car in every way. With Tesla I feel they took a lot of short cuts to put that car together to maximize profit. With the bz4x, I feel they spent more money building the car than what I paid for it.
ОтветитьI’ve had my BZ for a month now and honestly I really like it, only thing I wish that it was a bit more performance tuned but that’s my only complaint
ОтветитьWatch at 1.50x otherwise it’s painful. Sorry mate you need to speak faster.
ОтветитьPlease please please. The name is bizzy forks (bz4x). Simples 😊
ОтветитьI have had my BZ4X for 1.5 months and find it amazing. Don’t understand ppl nitpicking. Beautiful car and range is good for me
ОтветитьThank you great review. I'm getting one based on this review
ОтветитьHear a lot of rubbish about electric Cars. I have one. Should of bought it ages ago. My E is Toyota B Z 4 X. Outstanding Car to drive. I use it As a Taxi. And will do your weekly driving in a day. It does 550. In one charge. More than most people’s weekly. Driving. And. It’s cost effective. Has the speed. Of a jet when needed. Best car I ever had. Looked at all makes before buying. Found with its ten year guarantee only one that manufacturers have the confidence in. How many other E vehicles given this guarantee
ОтветитьI’ve heard that you can get a smaller steering wheel for it? Nice car but not liking the plastic trim, will that scratch easily!!
ОтветитьCan you do a video on E.V.s and tyre wear. I hear people complaining about excessive tyre wear.
ОтветитьWhat grade is this? Motion?
ОтветитьWhat is the length of the charging cable provided?
ОтветитьThe Toyota bZ4X is a standout in the all-electric SUV market. It’s safe, reliable, and efficient, and the review makes it clear that Toyota has put a lot of effort into making it one of the best electric vehicles available.
ОтветитьAll electric cars are shit !
ОтветитьThe level of tech features in the BZ4X is amazing. The digital dashboard and safety systems seem like a perfect balance between innovation and practicality.
ОтветитьLooking forward to this coming out of leases on the used market in about 3 years..
ОтветитьNissan Ariya seems like better value?
ОтветитьHad one of these as a courtesy car, sent it back the same day, very disappointed in Toyota these days, interior is rough, the outer plastic looks terrible, especially in silver.
These are so underpowered for ev's, people who choose these over a Tesla have no Interest in performance.
Charging speed is archaic.
Hopefully my Ioniq 6 will be fixed soon.
I like it dark
ОтветитьIf you’re considering making the switch to an electric vehicle, the Toyota bZ4X should definitely be on your radar. It’s one of the best electric SUVs available, combining reliability, efficiency, and safety into a sleek and stylish package. With its long driving range, advanced driver assistance features, and comfortable interior, the bZ4X offers everything you need for a modern, eco-friendly driving experience. Toyota’s reputation for building dependable vehicles makes this electric SUV a smart and practical investment.
ОтветитьThe Toyota BZ4X is such a reliable and efficient SUV. It’s the perfect blend of eco-friendliness and modern tech, making it a great choice for anyone looking to make the switch to electric.
ОтветитьJust got my 2025 BZ4X, I LOVE MY NEW CAR! It’s beautiful and runs great!!!
ОтветитьMy son has 2023 Bz4 and is encountering DC level 3 charging issues. It’ only getting 15kw, whereas the maximum rate is 100kw on his AWD version. The local DC charging station are rated at 350kw Long distance ranges are limited by long charging times!
ОтветитьFunny how people complain about the range. When you ask them how often they do long drives they say not much :-)
ОтветитьI have a 72 plate BZ4X which I drive mainly on dual carriageways and country roads, having done nearly 40,000 miles in that time. I love the car in so many ways, but the range is appalling, barely getting 200 miles on a full charge in the summer and 150 Max in the winter. I don’t feel they were optimistic, I feel that I was lied to about the range. I’m not put off fully electric cars, but I would not buy another BZ4X.
