John Mearsheimer: "Trump is not a warmonger".... LOL
Trump has just appointed pro-Israel warmongers to form his cabinet. Trump himself said during his campaign that if it were up to him, he would bomb Irans nuclear and oil facilities. Trump is going to expand the war in the middle east because he sold his soul to the Israel lobby who funded his election campaign. The debt must now be repaid.

Good compilation of both Sachs' and Mearsheimer's salient points. Trump won because he was the peace candidate. Nixon pulled off the same feat in 1968. (I had a chapter on this in Hints for Managing Collapse (2014).)

The USA needs to remain the leading global power to reckon with, otherwise with Russia, China, Iran, North Korea and the like gaining more and more power, we'll have to say good bye to the free world and democracy. It's that simple. The so called experts have NO CLUE how Russia and autocracies in general operate, they have only seen them in documentaries and books. You can't reason with unresaonable leaders, you show them power and deter them.

What prof Sacks haven't mentioned and what people of the Western world are mostly unaware is that Ukraine was never a sovereign country until the Soviet Union disassembly . It was part of Russian Empire since 1654 . It became a Republic of USSR with most of the territory added to it from Russia ( Crimea , Eastern and South Ukraine and some regions of the central Ukraine) Other territories were added to Ukraine by Soviet Union as a result of victory of WW2 . SO in the 90s after the collapse of Soviet Union Ukraine was granted a Sovereignty by Russia and agreed by USA and Great Britain
On conditions of being NEUTRAL, Non Nuclear, Non block alligned ( No NATO or any other milltary block ) Constitutional Republic . It was stated in Declaration of Sovereignity of Ukraine. So Ukraine's Neutrality was a FUNDAMENTAL condition for Ukraine to become a sovereign country to begin with !!!
So when in 2014l West sponsored and orchestrated UNCONSTITUTIONAL overthrow of then Constitutionaly Elected President, Ukrainian new regime ambitions and strides for Nato ( so they could remain in power and enrich themselves) as well as Zelenskiy promises to aquire nuclear weapons by either producing it or by having Western ( US ) nuclear weapons installed in Ukraine placed entire Ukrainian Sovereignity into a question of legitemacy as well as question of Direct Threat to Russian Safety and Security interests .
Putin had warned Ukraine and the West repeatedly for over a decade not to go that route . Providing Diplomatic compromises , such as heavily discounted Gas contracts as well as economic financial aid and loans .

Thank you Cyrus for the brief and clear analysis on the ongoing war in Ukraine. I'm not sure if the US citizens actually take international affairs into consideration while voting. Also, ending the war could be a little more difficult than we think, considering Russian has declared some territories e.g. Dombas region as officially part of Russia and has not been completely captured. And how will Russia back out of a war when it is clear they are going to win?
Trump really has some thinking to do here.

Sorry but there is absolutely no valid excuse for Russia invading another independent European country, and starting a war that has caused more than a million casualties. Finland and Sweden, which has been neutral for 200 years, have both joined NATO, turning the Baltic Sea into a NATO lake. The ruble has collapsed to 1 US cent, Russian interest rates have been hiked to 21% in a desperate attempt to defend the ruble, and to control out of control inflation, its best and brightest have emigrated, its birth rate is at a historical low, and its gas production industry is in terrible trouble. Regardless of how the war it started in Ukraine ends, it is a long term catastrophe for Russia.

Everyone with a bit of savvy now's what is going on with America's lies about Russia. America's foreign policy agenda is global control and it is successfully achieving this with the via the NATO alliance. Britain is it's puppet along with it's European allies. Israel is doing it's dirty work in the middle east. Keep Britain British.

Incredibly naïve viewpoint. NATO expanded because of the reasonable fear of Eastern European countries given Russia's history. The evidence is clear, including the Chechnyan wars, the invasion of Georgia and the invasion of Crimea and eastern Ukraine in 2014.
Bring on speakers from Estonia and Poland to understand the facts.
Sweden and Finland stayed out of NATO until Putin effectively told them that anyone outside the Treaty was fair game.
I cannot believe the savagely uncaring attitude of the speakers regarding the future of a country of 44 million people assaulted without provocation.
This is asinine and if anyone thinks Trump is anti-war then wait until the armaments industry offers him some incentives to conduct special military operations elsewhere.
Truly uninformed video.

Some truths:
COWARD: Putin's fight was with the US, but instead he attacks a small nation which he assured of security for giving up their nuclear weapons which would have protected them.
Coward : US administration which ties one hand of it's little brother Ukraine behind it's back ( and thereby assures it won't succeed) because of Fear that there would be a real risk of US facing Russian missiles. The US half-in approach is Immoral.
Is the US brave enough for a ceasefire ultimatum with consequences for Russia and for a short time also for US?
The US standing in the way of proportionate response to attacks on Kiev - contrasts starkly with US-Israeli genocide and collective punishment in Gaza.

If that is Trumps deal then it is never going to work. Delaying Ukraines entry to HATO for 20 years or 50 years is still HATO expansion to Russian borders... maybe Russia should accept Cuba as a part of the Russian Federation and to protect them base ICBMs on Cuban territory? This plan of Trumps will be seen as a ceasefire agreement so Kiev can be rebuilt and rearmed for another go at Russia in 10-15 years time. There is no way Russia will accept this. Remember Russia has to live with the consequences and losing more soldiers and destroying Kievs army might be preferable to Minsk 3 and getting screwed over by the west again. Not an inch west for HATO and then Minsk agreements Merkel and Holland have both said were subterfuges to distract Russia while Kievs forces were built up to take what they wanted by force. Putin will talk to Trump but he never said he was desperate and will take any offer put on the table. This conflict has cost Russia blood and they are winning. There are no big piles of weapons and ammo sitting around for Trump to send to Kiev, and even if there was they have no trained soldiers to operate them.

Exactly the USA is the cause of the troubles in the middle east as well it was the USA forced through the accord in the UN 😳 that allowed hundreds of thousands of Jewish refugees into Palestine which was under the UK mandate at the time when they the UK injected the USA as usual preceded and when the British decided to pull out in 47 the USA armed the Jewish settlers who when the British eventually pulled out attacked the unarmed Palestinians killing men women and children burning homes destroying towns and villages that had lived in harmony with the Jewish community for over A thousand years 😮 it's the USA foreign policy and it's greed for OIL and fear of Russias intentions that has caused chaos and havoc around most of the world 🌎
