As someone who is now at the age of 35 getting into MLS, after watching documentaries like Sunderland Til I Die and Welcome to Wrexham, I see fundamental pitfalls in ATL's setup. The wingers constantly get in each others way, the midfield lack solid creativity and mobility with the technical aspects of ball control, and Brad Guzan needs to do what Ben Foster did. There needs to be a shift from the veteran gk to someone youthful. The kid that was in goal for the Union is a perfect example. Young, flexible, and eager to learn. Maybe it's time to transition certain position to make the team work with better synergy.
