What a crap decoder algorithm. You have to set the speed manually or it doesn’t work very well. I’ve written code that can automatically adapt to the speed along with tone detection based on goertzel filter.

Looks like it works about as well as the <$100 QCX decoder!

Love the x6100 but Ive never managed to get the decoder "tuned" in, I will give it a try now !

Also If I am sending CW will the radio actually show me what I am sending? last question , can I put the radio into say BK IN off mode so I can practice sending CW without actually transmitting? Could not get decoding anything. Unlike the much cheaper Tru SDX, that has a great decoder, this X6100 decoder seams useless.
